Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Grassy hops dominate the nose. Medium body, clean sweet malts, a little metal and quite some good hops in the finish. 261111

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, off-white head. Weak aroma with pale malts, grass and hay, some flowery hints. A bit thin on the palate, and a bit too hard carbonation, but the flavor is quite nice. Pleasant bitterness towards the end, with pale malts, fruityness, grass, some pine cones and a faint flowery touch. Lasting bitterness in the end. I would like it more pronounced and fuller in the body, else it’s a nice pilsner. 111126

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy. Fine hoppy and more and more spicy-wheaty, some mild grasy notes. Finish still mild, well balanced, fine spicy. Very drinkable. Nice pils!

FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 26, 2010
5l keg (One Pint Pub, Helsinki, German Weeks 2010)
5 Wheaty grains
2 Pale yellow, clear, large head
5 Thin papery pils, some grains but mostly dry papery hops.
2 Watery, fizzy. Finish grassy and watery. Late finish more of the dry papery hops.
9 OK for summer if thirsty, but there are better things out there.

mjs (7778) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 11, 2010
(Poured from Partyfaß at One Pint Pub Augustfest) Poured golden and hazy. Head was medium sized and white. Aroma was malty and mildly grassy. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, mildly grass and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy and bitter. Not a classic style pils but a nice one.

bottled. quite a pale shade of golden with a lasting white head. complex aroma of mango, honey, stewed pear and nettle. very herbaceously bitter, lightly spritzy. what i would call a classic german pilsener
