Tapped. Appears slightly pale, semi-bronze, transparent body with high and stable white head. Slightly grassy aroma with some bread and malt notes. Properly tasteful rich body with interesting balance between light malts and interesting subtle but long finish. DruncanVeasey (8260) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 15, 2010
Brilliant lager-gold; fully opaque and peachy with the bits in, snowy white cap. Not sure how etiquette dictates I should pour this to be honest, but I’m just going for it. Juicy lemon barley, lemon zest, cream, Spumante and pineapple confectionary aroma far removed from what I’m used to from a bottled German bier: in fact, blindfolded I’d swear this was a perfumed effort from west of the border. Crisp and sparkling with a hefeweizen-type spritz and fruitiness; orange wine gums and lemon and lime jelly more than banana. Delicate sifting of ground coriander, but obviously not. Fruitbowl and woodsy, citrus spice like a witbier-GA-Asti hybrid, and all from yeast. Alchemical. Anyone who thinks bottled German beer is a bit samey or serious: drink this. The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 70. This draft brew from the brewery in Germany poured a medium sized foamy head of finely sized white colored bubbles that left behind a carbonated cloudy hazy unfiltered orange brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The aroma contained nice notes of yeast and flowers. The mouth feel was smooth mild and went down very easily with a lingering yeasty finish. The flavor contained nice notes of malts hops and yeast. 50 cl bottle. Hazy golden with big bubbled head without much retention. Refreshing aroma of fruit and hops leading to a smooth well balanced flavor dominated by spicy hops and some pleasant sweetness. Some orange marmalade kicks in as it warms. Very smooth in the mouth and without to hard carbonation. Complex and fullflavoured, but still the kind of beer that you want to keep drinking :-) Shaney (2423) - Köln / Cologne, GERMANY - DEC 17, 2012
Gerne wieder!

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Poured into steinkrug. Probably pale bronze colour with a haze, rich head. Grassy lightly floral nose. Mid sweet with medium body and soft. Bready, lightly fruity malt, mild grassy hops. Gently bitter finish. An harmonious malty kellerbier, although I would have preferred it less sweet and fruity. hotstuff (5233) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 29, 2004
Draft. White head, carbonated, excellent lacing, cloudy with a pale yellow hue. Malty and spicy aroma. Malty flavor. TimE (6067) - Tokyo, JAPAN - DEC 20, 2009
Malty. Smooth. Sweet. Lots of cereal notes. Decent, but nothing outstanding. yespr (47039) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2013
50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild grassy and light straw. Bitter, grassy and light straw. Toasted malty and light caramelish. Grassy and crisp bitter finish. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - AUG 28, 2009
On tap (in Rothenburg I believe) poured a clear and vibrant gold color. Aroma of wet bread and earth; some yeast. Flavor was very yeasty and wet malt tasting. Some apple and earthy qualities. A well made and satisfying beer.
