50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/Ungstrup. Pours slight cloudy yellow with a diminished white head. Mild cornish and dry aroma. Light bitterness and vague butterish note to a crisp pilsner malty base flavour. Ends mild bitter and slight citric.

500 ml bottle. DE. BB 9/12. From biershop-bayern.de.
Clear pale golden colour with average size frothy white head. Aroma is quite mild. Mild sweet tones but also dryness and even salt in aroma. Malt there is. Aroma is pleasant even though it’s quite mild for a Pilsener. Flavour is also quite mild but rather nice. Malt and notes of grassy hops. Somewhat weak hoppiness. Could be a bit stronger in flavour. Nothing wrong per se but a bit too mild for a Pilsener.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Pale straw, white frothy head. The aroma is more malty (white bread) that hoppy, just a touch of spice. The taste starts with a light gentle honeyish sweetness, a hint of lemony hops and faintly bitter but clean and crisp finish. Crisp body. Somewhat castrated, but otherwise good pilsner.

3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 6, 2014
Bottle from the Lang-Bräu cooler. Clear gold, stiff white head.
Hoppy nose is celery sticks, leafy greens, wet hop cones. Mineral quality is sulfur and chalk, slightly stinky in the nose. Light body, sweet, moderately bitter. Pils malt shows as saccharine again, without the graininess of the hell in the finish, given the green and raw and young hop character.

Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081004]
