UPDATED: SEP 30, 2012 33cl bottle, Cellier des Arcades. Pours a nice clear gold with a small white head. Aroma: nice malt character, slightly peppery, definitely with zing to it. Flavour: Delicious malt body, mildly grainy, slight dryness from the wheat, zing in the finish, lingering rich malty-boozy flavours. Feels medium on the palate, not too rich but not too light, and in balance with the alcoholic content. Very enjoyable, a conservative rendition of the style despite the addition of wheat, but one that pleases my palate. laiti (8374) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 15, 2012
75 cl bottle as ”L’Angelus Origin’Ale” @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 04/2013olio (10167) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 15, 2012
It seems that this brewery is actually called ”Brasserie Lepers” and located in Annoeullin
Aroma is rather fruity and strong on apricot. Also some soapy citrus. Flavour has soapy citrus, some apricot, fruit sugar, honey and hints of spices. The sweetness gets stronger towards the end of the glass. Not your typical Bière de Garde, reminds me of De Hemel Marikenbier (which is a Belgian Ale).

Pours clear golden color with minimal head. Aroma of lemon, honey, fruits, some toffee and some grass. Flavor of citrus fruits, hay, spice notes, apricot, honey, orange and faint notes of yeast. A bit mead-like. Medium carbonation, mildly sour palate with sweetish finish.
Laff herber Beginn, immerhin weich. Spritzig, muffige Hefigkeit. Leicht herb, ok aber eher langweilig. Trockener, sehr herber Abgang. /8/9/9//9

Hazy gold pour with a small thin head that collapsed quickly. No lacing. Aroma of apples and a hint of grain. Taste is very light and mild. Some sweetness from the wheat but mostly sweet fruit flavors. Mouth stings a little. An interesting take on the style.

Green cork and caged 75cl bottle obtained from Noel Cuvelier’s Farm Shop in Belgium and shared with friends.
The beer was poured into four ’Schossbrau’ pilsner vase shapped glasses, ones I often use for sparkling wines.
The beer suited the glasses, a huge snow white head of large bubbles covered half the glasses, below sat a clear golden body which looked very lager/pilsner like. The head left a lot of lacing as the beer levels fell.
Very little aroma, some hop esters and grass hints.
The taste had a lager/pilsner/helles feel to it, hoppy more than malty. I thought it interesting, different and most enjoyable.
Easy to drink (too easy) and glad I bought it, another good French beer. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - MAR 29, 2012
Bottle 33 cl, Fleurs du Malt. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head . Aroma is malty, sweet, fruity, bready, yeasty, spicy and wheaty. Flavor is a bit acidy and sweet fruity to begin with, more fruityness of fidges and pears with bitterness in the middle and bitter dryish towards the end. Finishes dry fruity bitter. tderoeck (9479) - Gent, BELGIUM - FEB 21, 2012

Taste: pretty herbal, little fruity, buttery, some hops, overripe fruits, yoghurt. Aftertaste: little bitter, oranges, overripe fruits. Diacetyl?
