Red Lion (JDW), Bitterne. Vinegar. I don’t think the beer is off, I think the staff didn’t clean their lines. Our other beer was also vinegar, but undrinkable. Thus JDW only has two guests, so the other had to be swapped for a Ruddles. Anyway, beyond the vinegar there is a honey sweetness and some chocolate. cgarvieuk (24488) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2017

Cask conditioned at The New Inn, Littlehampton, W.Sussex. Brown with white head. This starts off fairly nutty in character, some sweetness then turning towards bitterness. It’s okay. Beer5000 (6486) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2016
Cask @ South Western Arms, Southampton. Unclear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel and toffee. Flavor is light and smooth with the same flavor as aroma. Low bitterness. Easy and smooth, but not much exiting, the name must be the most exciting part here. Beaneyb (3) - ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2015 does not count
This was a very flavoursome drink, with a very pleasant aftertaste that lingered on the tongue.

Cask at the Rose and Crown, Sandhurst. Chestnut with a scummy cream head; malty aroma with some orange fruit; silky in the mouth, with a sweet caramel malt taste; and some spicy toffee and warmth to the finish. Satisfying. Erasmus_ro (2945) - Alabama, USA - AUG 25, 2013
Bottle from Beer Essentials, Horhsam. BBE Oct 2013. Gotten a bit old. Pours a reddish copper with a large, big-bubbled, quickly vanishing, yellowish-brown head. Aroma is plum and prune. Later sweetish caramel and flower. Taste is a lot of caramel, slightly sweet. Some prune there too. Dry, bready finish. Light, not much carbonation. fonefan (49305) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAY 17, 2013

Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012, Reading, Berkshire England.
Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, chocolate - cacao notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, thin, keller, nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Reddish brown, clear ale with a sweet aroma. It has an acute strong taste that lingers. Although there’s some in the nose there’s no real fruits in its flavour. No head.
