GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear gold beer, no head. Light dry palate, modest carbonation. Dry and grainy malts. Tangy citrus and orange peel, some marmalade. Flat and grainy.
Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 1. A clear deep golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramelish malt, biscuit. Taste of mild citrusy hops, caramel, biscuit. foxo82 (900) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2015
Cask at The Cosy Club, Leicester. Probably should have had this before the dry hoppy citrus number instead of after, as this is mildly flavoured, creamy with some ginger. Average but perfectly drinkable leaparsons (10598) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2012
Cask, Bridge 61, Foxton. Amber brown with a white foam. Aromas are weetabix with light pear and lemon. Caramel with black tea. Flavours are weetabix and yeast with lemon to finish. Has a dry aftertaste. A very simple bitter.
