Pours a thin head on an almost black body. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa and vanilla. Nice. Taste is mild vanilla and roasted malt, a touch of bitter chocolate in the finish. Texture is crisp.

On tap at the brewhouse. Jet black with tan cream. Aromas of vanilla and chocolate very enticing. Body a little on the light side, but creamy enough. Sweet but very quaffable, even on a hot day after a hike.

Aromas are all dark roasted coffee and vanilla. Color is nearly black with a huge light brown head. Taste is fairly bitter with a light touch of sweetness. Body is medium; carbonation is average, despite the huge head. Overall a fairly good porter, though not especially complex.

Bottle from local mart, huge, creamy white head (aggressive pour resulted in ALL head), aroma is vanilla, chocolate, and malt. Taste is vanilla, chocolate, coffee, caramel, cookies. Palate is smooth, carbonation is moderate.

Nice vanilla aroma, my example was a bit foamy. Mellow not overbearing roast along with a beer with some nice body. Well balanced beer. Very enjoyable.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall tan and light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, earth, caramel and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied; Candy sweet chocolate and caramel hit first with a good deal of grain, roasted malt, oatmeal and vanilla right behind. Aftertaste shows a lot of roasted malt bitterness with some subdued grain and alcohol along with a bit of chocolate and coffee and a touch of alcohol as well. Overall, a nice porter with some rich flavours and a deep bitterness that you don’t find in most local beers. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from KTA Super Store in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii Island, Hawaii on 09-August-2016 for US$7,99 sampled in my hotel/condo on 12-August-2016.

This was a very good porter that was nice on the vanilla flavor and was not too strong that you can not enjoy it

Black pour. Vanilla, roasted Malta, slight burnt coffee, some chocolate. The vanilla really comes on as it warms. Medium to full body. Rather smooth. If you like vanilla this is right up your alley.

Powerful vanilla and chocolate aroma. Taste is smooth, silky and with a decent mellow hoppy bitterness. A great example - a good brew to draw some inspiration from for my next batch
