My Bottom Line:
This rough Pale Ale shares citrusy and leafy hop flavors and bitterness which are awash in straight yeast.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the cloudy beige.
-This is highly effervescent, almost overly carbonated.
-There is a lot of yeast in the bottle. I understand it’s for natural carbonation, but a better dosage would make the flavors brighter.
-The hop bitterness is salient but astringent.
-This is flavorful and different for Spain, but it needs work to reach Guineu-like quality.

5.2 vol. Normal.

330 ml bottle from Our Daily Bread in Chatham, NY, drunk at a bit below cellar temp from a Guinness glass. Pours a fairly clear deep gold - clear that is until the HUGE yeast shot which I wasn’t looking out for to be honest (out of practice, Ratebeer) which clouds the think into impenetrability; the head is fluffy, snowy, and lasting...the nose is bready/yeasty - sourdough and an especially tart and vinegary sourdough, with light touches of honey and vanilla...on the tongue it’s mellow, lightly sweet and lightly hoppy throughout, smooth and pleasant but with at least slightly more presence than, say, a typical golden or amber ale - you do get a sense of some hops and a slightly richer malt character, as well as a noticeable bit of that bready yeast...quite full and meaty, low to moderate natural carbonation. Really solid quaffer, and one of the many pleasant surprises I found in this little Jewish/middle-eastern/breakfast/bakery joint.

Bottle. Pours a rather hazy amber color with a moderate off white head on there. Nose has some nice fruity citrus notes to it and smells like a pleasant pale ale. Taste is slightly bitter, but has a fairly fresh taste to it.
