COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
LUG is an ordinary bitter ale, but there is nothing ordinary about this bitter ale. Named for the Celt-Iberiangod who was purported to be both warrior and healer, At 3.5 ABV LUG is light enough to drink all daylong but presents a satisfying hop backbone that does not skimp on flavor. The aroma greats the nose with a strong bouquet of hop bitterness full of citric fruit and floral aromas that continue to bloom on the palate. The bubble is lively and gives rise to a full and persistent white foam head. Brewmasters Àngel Torné Tarragó and Xavi Carim Correcher have crafted a 3.5 ABV ordinary bitter ale with …..The result is an authentic bitter ale …….that is a tasty all day drinking companion or a terrific accompaniment to mature cheeses and meats. The bitterness cleans the palate exquisitely after each sip, opening the way to renewed gourmandizing. Available in 33cl and 75cl bottles and key kegs. L’Anjub LUG – extra-ordinary bitter ale

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellowish golden color with a very large white head on there. Nose is light and fruity, and a lot more brightly hoppy than I would have guessed. Taste is actually quite bitter, with more of an earthy aftertaste than anything similar to an IPA or APA. Not bad at all.

Aroma hoppy with floral tones and a little clove. Smooth light taste with a hint of cinnamon that starts moderately bitter and builds gradually to a huge bitterness hit.
