A standard lager with not a lot of taste, but smooth enough. Fairly drinkable - not bad.

Bottle strangely enough at curry house in Oulu. Just a standard pale lager but tasted refreshing with spicy food.

Keg (My local, Espoo) (Horizontal with other IIIs and IVs) In summary - odourless, tasteless, rubbish. Sorry, I love Finland, but I can’t say anything positive about this beer. It’s not actually bad, it’s just not in any way good. If you think it’s a clean taste, that’s disinfectant.

Can. Golden colour with a white head. Light grassy aroma. Slightly malty flavour with a short finish.

Bottle. Frothy medium head. Pale brown body. Thin aroma of bitter hops and a tad malty. Pleasant flavour, well balanced bitterness and sweetness. Has a special hint of something undefined. Maybe it is the great taste of Lapland? Best enjoyed straight from the bottle. This beer is a good old classic for me, and I really enjoy it every time I get it on bottle. (Filipstad, 19.07.07)

Light gold, with a thin durable head. Malty aroma, with a bit of floral hops. Medium body and sweet. A bit long in the finish.

KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 6, 2007
Very similar to the III version of the beer, they probably brew them to one strength and then dilute as appropriate. Decent balance between hops and malt, refreshing dry finish.

RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 27, 2007
Draught @ Helsinki Train Station, Finland. Dark golden beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly dry with a light malty finish. The flavour is weakly dry at the beginning with quite a bitter finish. Overall an average bitter/gentlely malty lager.

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 7, 2007
Canned 50cl. It pours a yellow beer with a small white head. Sweet malty aroma, grassy, grainy with notes of hops, apples. Slighlty tart, a hint of sourness. Some oily elements in the nose. Dominating malty sweet flavours. Oily. Medium bodied, again a hint of sourness in the taste. The taste is mainly of malt and grain. Watery. Poor finish. It’ s not that good, but nothing really bad either.

Borup (14551) - Albertslund, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2007
Can. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of Malt and hops.
