1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle 0.33l from Pendolino, train. Colour is golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours are metal, grass and malts. Pretty fresh but otherwise just horrible.
Can (5.2% ABV). It doesn't mention IV A, only III CAT. I. Pours golden. Aroma is sweet, booze, grains, cardboard. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grains, malt, fruits, slight nastiness. Body is watery. Overall: not good, but happy birthday Finland! (Day late I know, but yesterday I didn't have any time to pick up a Finnish beer). thejackpacker (681) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2017
Can from Systembolaget. Eek this was terrible. It looked alright but was tinny and just most of the bad things that a macrolager can be. BeerViking (5084) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2017
Pours darkish gold from the can. Sweet, corny nose, cheap sugary malt, light grassy hops. kraddel (9176) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - SEP 22, 2017
Bottle, presumably this entry, given the ABV and number of rates. Bottle mentionned 'premium export' at 5.2 ABV. Sampled in a blind tasting, served in Black glassware, together with Dr. Beer. Gusher alert ! dchad56 (569) - - JUL 19, 2017
Smell is sweet, malty, floral, dusty. Taste is very mildly bitter. tad dry, in the feel, but still a sweet beer for sure. decent maltyness. no real esthers. pale malts ( white bread ) Not bad.
Bottle - clear golden yellow, medium carbonation with small white head. Typical lager aroma, not good mouthfeel. Even best lager not my favourite - this is not best lager.

Watery thin body , medium carbonation.
Just one of so many industrial lagers. (backlog rating)

C: deep gold, clear.
A: malty, grainy, sweet bread, metallic.
T: malty, strangely sweet, corny, weak bitterness, straightforward commercial but no surprise, medium body, low carbonation, 33cl bottle as Premium Export from Auchan Market in Luxembourg.
Malty aroma. Classic laget with a bit more corny aroma. GoufCustom (2208) - HONG KONG - MAY 25, 2017
Pours clear golden with a medium white head.
The taste is actually very sweet with a bit of grass. But mainly sweet. Maybe ever so slightly skunked. It has a crispy mouthfeel, watery to oily texture. But at the end of the day it’s just another pilsner — and a sweet one at that.
500 ml can as “Lapin Kulta” bought at 7-Eleven in Metropolis Plaza, Sheung Shui.
Piss golden colour; Three finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 3 minutes; Good sticky lacing with fizzy slow carbonation; Fragrant aroma of full lager malt, with strong grains, light floral, icing sugar, strong thick bread, faint lemon and light grass; Mid to light sweet taste of bready malt, with light floral, light molasses, strong thick bread, light lemon and thin grassy bitter hops; Close to medium body. Slick palate; Mouth feel is more of a Premium Lager than a macro Pale - full maltyness with thick bready characters, slick not watery. Moderate hops as in low floral and flashes of bitterness. Sweetness is amazingly low. Light lemon finish. Good!... Hoppiness is light floral, light lemon and light grass in nose and taste; Bitterness is low-fi for an abrupt, low astringent malty finish; Fairly dry after taste. Bready and very easy to mouth.
Comments: Didin’t expect this one so malty and bready. Pretty much a Pilsener material if only this has more hops. Very fulfilling and enjoyable. Finland, tick!
