Bottle, purchased at Kilpishalli Finland.
Persistent apricot-vanilla-white head on red-brown body.
Spices and roasted malts to the nose, hints of caramellic pine needles.
Tastes roasted malts, roasted licorice, grains, finnish sour bread, burnt raisins and grilled prunes. Some bitterness to palate, alright balanced. Ends smoothly with dark syrup, roasted caramel, malts. Overall it should go well along with X-mas dinners.
My beautiful ukrainian wife said it was alright.

Beautiful amber colour, totally clear with white head leaving lacing. Aroma is bulk lager like maizey sweet and dark bready. Taste is little malty dark bready sweet and little sour. Some bitterness in the finish. Watery thin palate with high carbonation. Nothing special but drinkable. Zarkam (539) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 4, 2013
350ml bottle, clear dark amber colour, frothy large mostly lasting off-white head, decent lacing. Moderately malty roasted aroma with hints of caramel and bread, light to moderate herbal hops. Taste is initially lightly sweet and acidic, leading to a lightly bitter and somewhat burnt aftertaste with an astringent feel. Medium body, dry texture, avereage carbonation. Passable amber lager, could even be considered good for something from one of the three major breweries in Finland. jann3 (379) - Espoo, FINLAND - NOV 3, 2013
Dark amber color. Beige head, that leaves some lacing. Aroma is sweetish and malty, but has some metallic notes too. The taste is sweetish with some roasted maltiness and even some caramel notes. The finish has a hint of hoppy bitterness. Soft carbonation and medium body. All in all, a decent brew. (0,33 l bottle, best before 10 Mar 2014, poured in a Schott Zwiesel Brussel -glass). UPDATED: JUN 8, 2013 Bottle. Pours a dark auburn with a large, beige head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is bready, loafy, dark malts, light caramel. Taste is very Vienna as well. Bready, loafy, light dark lager-fruitiness, light touch of herbs on the finish. Overall, the taste is rather weak. Aftertaste has a touch of metal and corn. Light, not watery, decently carbonated. Decent, surprisingly good for a macro.

A dark brown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma of bread, malts, some roastiness, wood and hint of caramell. Taste is malty and bready, quite dry, wood and some herbs. Quite light body, smooth to drink. Quite succesfully, but slightly boring. Anyway, the positive beer. Juusto (37) - FINLAND - FEB 16, 2013
0,33l bottle close to its "best before date". Reddish brown. Some head visible for a while. Caramel and malty with lightly bitter aftertaste. Not too aggressive. Something is missing, but still pretty good bulk from Hartwall. metalgrunt (3) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 16, 2013 does not count
Not as bad as normal Lapin Kulta. Just as bitter as normal Finnish lager. Includes a nice taste that reminds me of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum).
The appearance is quite nice (amber, clear; nice foam). JK54B (1602) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 12, 2013
Mild malty nose. Pale beige fast disappearing head. Dark coppery color. Slightly sweet and sour malty and hoppy taste. At the end hop bitterness. MikeKeller (939) - Kemi, FINLAND - DEC 13, 2012
33 cl Bottle. Clear cola brown beer with off-white head, leaves lace. Caramel malts in the aroma. Caramel malts with a roasted end in the bit metallic taste. Would suit just fine with Finnish christmas dishes.
