"Dark Lager"
Ingredients: Water, Malt, Roasted malt, Unmalted cereals, Hops
The elite among beers: this is because of its nobility and fullness, rich taste and effect. It used to come to the table to crown a banquet. Today a glass of dark beer on the bar is something usual. Dark beer drinkers are cosmopolitan in outlook, sybaritic by nature and are true connoisseurs of taste.

Keg at Szimpla Kert. Pours dark brown with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel, malt and molasses. Taste is burnt roast to start then sweetens up with caramel and toffee which fades. Not bad

Tretinková fľaška. Tuctové čierne pivo, ničím neoslovilo. Druhý raz asi nebude.

brown and clear lager, beige foam, roasty and malty aroma, medium carbonated. Regular dark lager with emphasis on malty flavors, thin aftertones

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear deep ruby pour with minimal, slightly off-white head. Pleasant nose, roasted with a touch of caramel. Hints of licorice and chocolate. Thin to medium body with lively carbonation. Average texture and. Roasty bittersweet mouthfeel with slight metallic acidity. Aroma is quite nice, somewhat ruined by abrupt bitter finish. That aside, it’s nicely roasty with caramel malts and licorice. Toffee. Slightly boozy. Interesting herbal spiciness. Faint cocoa. Dry finish. Overall, nothing outstanding but quite nice and in my opinion a lot better then the new Zlatorog dark.

0,33l bottle bought at a Tesco in Nitra. BB 21.10.2016. dark brown color, small tan head. smells cardboard, peppery, light roast, some fruity notes that are a bit off, earthy. bit weird smell. medium body, light carboantion, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, light dark fruits, spices, some licorice, light caramel, some bread notes. finishes lightly dry with some bread and licorice notes. hmm, rather weird one, something is off with the taste too, but i cannot identify what. overall below average beer.
