UPDATED: AUG 5, 2012 From tap at the Stone Bistro. Pours pitch black with a huge tan head. Aroma is dense toffee coffee. Smooth and dense, yet not offensive. Bitter, dry and solid coffee into a smooth coffee malty light sweet finish. This is cold coffee more than beer, but I like it.8-4-8-4-16=4.0anders37 (26251) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 23, 2012

On tap at O’Brien’s. Way too dry, though looks great lace sheet. OK, but not a fan of dry stout, you would think oatmeal would enhance it. slowrunner77 (11930) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 24, 2014
"A nice well-rounded breakfast beer. Godd balance of roasted malt, chcolate, and bittersweet coffee. Light-medium bodied and smooth on the palate, with a lasting dry coffee as=ftertaste." daknole (11044) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Nearly black in color with a brown head. Aroma? Coffee. All coffee. Maybe a hint of dark bitter chocolate. Flavor is coffee and coffee and more coffee. This beer actually tastes like coffee with a hint of chocolate creamer. Wow, intense. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 14, 2013
Tap at Salted Pig, Riverside. Pours near black with red highlights. Good lacing. Jalapeño style green coffee nose with Moroccan dry cured black olive and Mikkeller RIS style tar. Aroma, as it warms, moves to 100% Tabasco sauce. Just straight up hot sauce. Taste is Mikkeller style RIS with heavy tar and industrial ash, sweet white alcohol, acidic coffee, more Tabasco sauce. Bizarre. Would receive a 1.8 from MrChopin and perhaps a 0.8 from 3fourths. blipp (9172) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Draft. Pours near black with a beige head. Big sweet malts and sweet espresso coffee, cream, chocolate, and lightly roasted malts. Maybe just a hint to sweet for some folks, but I found it very drinkable.
