4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Served on draft at Stone’s 16th Anniversary Celebration. The appearance is a deep brown with a nice brown head with some bubbles. This guy is pure medium to dark bodied coffee. Really pure wonderful coffee profile. Some sweet cream and light cocoa powder notes as well. Medium full mouth with a touch of chalkiness. I really enjoy this one. Will have to try some more from Latitude 33.

Had this one time before at their brewery and liked it a lot. Latitude 33 is an underrated brewery in my opinion and I would like to try everything I can from them. Glad to finally review this one.
Poured a black color with 2-to-3 fingers of khaki tan, frothy head. Below average lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled pitch black coffee, ashtray, caramel, hazelnut, roasty nuts, oatmeal, toasted brown sugar, thick molasses, char wood and hints of licorice. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste was even better than the nose, getting black coffee, dark chocolate, hazlelnut, oatmeal, molasses, char wood, ashtray, dry cocoa nibs, toasted brown sugar and black licorice. Did not taste 8.5 percent. (Taste - 4.50)
Full body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, roasty finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Was really good. Taste was so much better than the nose. Loved it. (Overall - 4.25)

On tap at Stone Liberty Station. It pours black with a light brown head. The aroma has deep dark chocolate and bread. Light coffee notes. The flavor has more dark chocolate, roasted malt, lighter coffee and creamer. Velvety body. Super tasty stuff. Beersmithbacon (111) - San Luis Rey, California, USA - MAY 13, 2015
Best beer they have. Chocolate and French roast aroma. Woody and cocoa in flavor big time. Some alcohol that was enjoyable nice roasted malt finish. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - APR 13, 2015

Nitro at Barrel Republic. Pours dark brown with a creamy beige and lots of lacing. Smells like fresh roasted dark coffee, burnt toast, burnt malt. Tastes like dark coffee, booze, light spice, dry roasted malt.

Sampled at the brewery on 3/21/2013. This Imperial Oatmeal Stout pours a dark amber drown color from the tap. Small to medium sized white/tan foamy head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, roasty malts. A medium to full bodied stout. The malts are roasty, chocolate and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. Hint of sweet chocolate at the finish. Nice fuller oatmeal mouthfeel. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 24, 2014
"A nice well-rounded breakfast beer. Godd balance of roasted malt, chcolate, and bittersweet coffee. Light-medium bodied and smooth on the palate, with a lasting dry coffee as=ftertaste." blipp (9915) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Draft. Pours near black with a beige head. Big sweet malts and sweet espresso coffee, cream, chocolate, and lightly roasted malts. Maybe just a hint to sweet for some folks, but I found it very drinkable. Sammy (13000) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 17, 2014
On tap at O’Brien’s. Way too dry, though looks great lace sheet. OK, but not a fan of dry stout, you would think oatmeal would enhance it. DJDAM (3) - California, USA - JAN 16, 2014 does not count
