Sampled at the brewery on 3/22/2013. This wheatwine pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, wheat, and slightly hoppy. A medium to full bodied wheatwine. The malts are fruity and sweet, wheat. The hops are grapefruity, floral and piney. Decent carbonation. Nice melon/tropical flavors. Hides the alcohol fairly well. A touch of alcohol at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. SDalkoholic (2444) - Linda Vista, California, USA - MAR 10, 2013
On tap @ O’Brien’s: Poured an opaque glowing orange hue that looked like to be an American wheat topped with a thin layer of head. Aroma is spiced with nice touch of hops but I’m not able to accurately smell much else because of the fellas near the door razing with their cigars. However, the flavor is heavy with hops and a nice delicate earthy spiciness sits well with me. I’m not able to really notice any wheat like flavors but there is an undeniable alcohol burn. I would say I’m impressed considering this is the first Latitude 33 beer I’ve tasted. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Hazy orange colored beer with a small white head. Orange hop aroma, some pine, and noticeable alcohol. Notes of green apple along with sweet bread, toast, and caramel. The flavor is primarily sweet and malt forward, but there is a bit of citrus and pine hop character. Light bitterness, green apple, and alcohol on the finish. On tap 4 oz. sample at Latitude 33 in Vista, CA.
Hazy, translucent, dark amber-copper with a fine, creamy, pale khaki head and fabulous lacing.
Aroma of grain, wheat, yeast and spice.
Taste of honey, grain, wheat, spice and obvious alcohol. A bit too heavy on the alcohol and the honey flavor for my preference.
Medium/full body and medium/low carbonation.

Draft. Hazy amber beer with a dark cream head. Sweet malt and light wheat aroma. Wheat and light caramel flavor with pine. Medium bodied. Wheat and caramel linger with pine. More hops than expected.

Tap. Pours slightly hazy yellow gold with a medium head that dissipates with some lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, pine and wheat, interesting. Flavor is citrus with notes of wheat, yeast and a notable alcohol presence. Velvety smooth in the mouth. This is quite a nice beer, but it seems like a DIPA to me. :)
