16 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 1/17/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear medium golden/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus peel/spicy/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very nice American pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. Very bright, dank, and earthy on hops; with a nice malt backbone for the low ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Good citrus aroma. Light amber color. Taste is a wonderful mix of citrus and piney hops. Palate is medium bodied. Overall, a good beer. Might get again.

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Fresh and rather hoppy with grapefruit, some pineapple and hay. Medium body and bitterness. A decent one.

Draft to pilsner glass at the brewpub. Looks solid; a transparent lighter copper with fomy white head and lively carbonation. Smells of juicy, piney, and bitter hops with a mildly bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a medium-light to medium-bodied mouthfeel. A touch of grain on the tongue as well. A solid, sessionable example of the style.
