COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The smooth robust style porter ale features symmetry between the complex malts and hops required for the style. Black in color with deep streaks of dark amber, the medium bodied ale starts smooth with a perfect blend of caramel, coffee and chocolate and subtle yet crisp roasted malt flavors finishing clean and slightly dry.

Dark brown. Rough coffee, cocoa, roasted malts, earth. A bit disjointed and the profile isn't well meshed. Medium body. Ok at best.

12floz can, BBD: 02.18.2017 (hard to find on the edge toward the bottom, and does not explicitly state BBD), $1.75 unit cost, nonic glass. Appears kinda like a borwon ale with ruby hues in the brownness. Smells good, malty, sweet, and kinda like a milk chocolate covered maraschino cherry. Taste presents cacao that is is lightly sweet upfront and though the middle, but dry in the finish. It gets a passing grade, I kinda dig the velvety textured porters. This is thus.

Sampled at the 2017 Beer Fest. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of roast, dark fruits, coffee and malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more roast, dark fruits, coffee, malts and medium carbonation with a smooth aftertaste.

Aroma is lost on my messed up sinuses. Pours very dark brown with a medium tan head, much larger than most porters I’ve tried. Tastes of mild roasted grain, coffee, dark chocolate, mild hops and bitterness. Very light palate with too much carbonation for a porter. Seems very off balance and is missing something in the finish that I can’t quite place. Very mediocre porter, though it is easy to drink.

Thanks Mike. This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a dark brown color close to black with a slim white foamy head that escaped at a good pace. Sly stringy lace. The aroma had some soft sweet to roasty nuts, light coffee beans, some dark and milk chocolate blending fairly nice. The flavor also presented a nice blend of the roasty to the sweet steadily blending into a nice aftertaste and riding on into the finish. The feel was pretty well balance between roasty and sweet and had a medium body. Nice sessionability and an ABV that felt good. Overall, pretty nice porter that I could come back to if I could get it.

can @ Belmont Party Supply / Dayton OH --- Aroma of malt and cocoa. Opaque black-brown color, deep tan head that stays at a thick cover, lace cobwebs. Taste is toasted malt with a chalky mouthfeel, mild fizz, and light hops that mix in with an odd, out-of-balance, sweet in a long finish. Nothing wrong, only the pieces don’t fit very well.

This beer is a dark brown color with a medium thin khaki head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate aromas. Light to medium body with a roasty coffee and malt character, with cocoa in the background. The finish is roasted coffee and a touch of peppery spice. Decent overall.

330ml can (Ochutnávková Pivnice, Brno). Very dark brown color. Small size, brown color, stays. Roast, sweet, bit nutty in aroma. Roast, minerals, dry bit of coffee in taste. Dry coffee in aftertaste. I’m drunk.

355ml can (Alus Celle, Riga)
Very nice roasty aroma, good coffee hint, maybe some milkiness. Watery palate, a bit milky. Nice roasty taste. Super easy drinkable roasty beer, but a bit simple.
