COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Crème Ale is a traditional crème ale with both ale and lager yeast, this gives us the creamy smoothness of an ale with a nice dry crisp finish. The Creme Ale is great on hot summer days.

Copied from my BA review.
Can dated by the store on 09.11.14.
Poured into a beer can glass on 09.12.14.

A: 2 1/2 finger head. Straw yellow. See through.

S: Smells somewhat similar to a hef. Bubblegum. Maybe because of German pils malts as listed on the can?

T: Bubblegum, corn, and grain. Some grape too.

M: Creamy. Good carbonation.

O: Cream ales are not my favorite, but this one is good for the style. It’s a simple beer so it would be a good substitute for some macro lager drinking friends.

Bottle. Pours a clean light yellow, looks like light ginger ale. Sweet, bread aroma. Sweet honey like flavors. Smooth finish with a slight bitterness.

12 ounce bottle thanks to buckeyeboy. Thanks! Pours a hazy gold with a white head of foam that dissipates quickly. Not much aroma. The taste yields a sof wheaty, bready note that finishes quickly and leaves a doughy note on the back of the throat after the swallow. Light bodied and easy drinking.

The beer pours okay with a partially hazy straw color, a mild white head and no lacing on the glass. The smell is very neutral..I even tried to stir it up to release something and got nothing. The taste has a mild creamy flavor but not much else going on. The mouthfeel is mediocre with a mild bitterness and somewhat clean feel, the beer is okay with carbonation. Overall, not impressed...dont recommend.

First of this style for me. Really good. Smooth and drinkable. Malty and yeasty. Color is light amber, thin to non-existent head, Aroma and taste are malt, light gingerbread, sourdough, maple, honey. Very interesting, drinkable, smooth and refreshing. Like it!

Clear straw pour with big head. Aroma of grains, sour apples, paper. Starts sour in flavor. Some rye flavor. Some brininess. Not sweet, Not bitter. Not much hop flavor. Weird but refreshing for a beer that feels moderate on the mouth.

Bottle. I find that the nose is really light, with just a faint hint of earthiness to it. Taste is light and much like a lager to me. Feels relatively smooth and creamy, though without a lot of substance. Meh.

Bready, smooth. Easy to drink. Lightness of flavor, bready. Good for a brie session. I had no head at all.
