bottle. amber/orange hue with thin clumpy head. nose is way more malt-forward than I’d expect -- very sweet, really, with lots of toffee and bread dough before you get the hops, mostly by way of a neroli/resiny presence. there’s some alcohol evident on the nose, too, and moreso in the palate, which helps to dry it out a bit. nice hop presence but still seems to tilt more in the direction of malt. I wouldn’t’ve guessed that this was an Imperial IPA if I’d’ve tasted it blind. not bad but probably not what you’d expect, and not what you’d look for if you wanted a truly tongue-melting extreme hophead experience.
Pours clear ruby, small amount of head. Oak, earth, caramel sweet malts and pine hop. Classic formula done well. Harsh and biting. These guys haven’t blown me away yet but I’m waiting for it. Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 9, 2016
Bottle. Deep orange pour, off-white head. Aroma of floral hops, resin, pine and caramel. Flavor is slightly bitter, fruity and with a huge body. Amazing brew. jandd1983 (4317) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JUL 8, 2016
Bottle. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of floral hops with some citrus and vanilla. The taste was similar to the aroma with more hops and some caramel malts, with more vanilla, grapefruit and spices. Tasty. kayres (888) - , Georgia, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Dark orange with a thin off white head. Very sweet malty nose full bodied with a lot of hop flavor and little bitter

Big thick pine resin aroma and flavor, very bitter. Big bodied and chewy. There are better hop combos than this, but it’s good.

Good pour with 1 inch eggshell head that sticks to the side of the glass ... with a big piney nose as soon as the beer hits the glass .... I am gonna like this one. Deep amber/reddish orange... maybe not the right color for a DIPA, but no complaints here... still a very nice color.
Smell is awesome ... no let down at all. Big malts and much bigger American hops. Grapefruit, misc. citrus, and pine coupled perfectly with stick to your nose-hair sweetness.
Taste is a lingering mash-up of balance. Thick without overpowering flavors. Striking bitterness gives way to viscous malts with a loooong lingering hop flavor. toasted malts are in there... mmmm! Big and balanced. BeerdedDave (1703) - Beckley, USA - OCT 12, 2015
cloudy amber color; lots of hops in the aroma; fruity, citrusy hop aroma with herbal notes; a bitter. Hoppy beer; piney, citrusy hops with herbal notes and tropical fruit notes; medium bodied, slightly sweet malt base; bitter finish with alocohol notes Gluepot (639) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 22, 2015
A rich golden/orange hue with a moderate nose of hops, some malt and orange peel. This is a very smooth and warm double, with a range of lush hops and a hint of melon. It is rich and easy drinking, but the finish is a bit on the weak side. CH-303 (2229) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - SEP 17, 2015
