Very hazy amber beer, big frothy pale tan head. Semi soft palate, smooth. Creamy smooth malt. Bitterish water chesnuts that remind me of Deus. Seamlessly blended orange and pine hop. A little aniseed in the smooth finish. Nicely joined up and unusual DIPA. Where does the water chesnut flavour come from? Bitterish aftertaste.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear dark amber, no head. Only slight grapefruit aroma. Huge bodied with clean, hard mouthfeel. Intensely hoppy - piney and grapefruity. Powerful resiny bitterness. Extremely harsh and off balance. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2010
Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of scrizzz. Pours a cloudy amber with a creamy off-white head leaving a little lacework. Intense peachy hop aroma. Solid body, lots of caramel, very fruity with perfumy and peachy hops. The hops are showing a little muscle in the finish with quite some alcohol. A scaringly easy drinker. 200210
