Thanks to Skyview for this one. Moderate hops in the aroma. Gold color. Lightly bitter with citrus, grapefruit. A nice drinking ipa, with better than average hop flavor. Malt is secondary for this beer but there is enough there to complement the hops. MatSciGuy (907) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 26, 2009
[Bottle] shared by Skyview. Pours a hazy caramel with a small off white head. Aroma is mostly biscuity malt with a touch of floral hops and a bit of caramel. Flavor is subdued floral and a touch of citric hops, with more malts. This probably would have been much better fresh, as most of the hops had dissipated. Thanks to Skyview for sharing this one. Slightly hazy brownish pour with a whitish head. Aroma of light malt and strong hop profiles. Taste is similar to the aroma with a little less malt. Very solid. badgerben (5213) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - FEB 26, 2009
Thanks to Skyview. Copper color with no head. Aroma of biscuit and a bit of citrus. Much the same in the flavor. Some more floral hop notes than citrus and pine. Caramelly. Definitely more like a strong amber after some aging, but quite nice. Skyview (6076) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - FEB 25, 2009
Picked up a 2007 vintage single 22-oz bomber from Bottleworks in Seattle, WA. Pours a hazy brown amber brew with an average off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of powdered caramel malt, some grapefruit, tangerines, a hint of orange zest and some biscuit. Taste is medium bodied, citrusy, with flavors of aged caramel malt, some grapefruit, orange zest and mild herbs. Finish has a nice citrus bitterness that slowly disappears. The extra year aging did some nice work on this IPA.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2009 wild and hoppy, like it was made in some cabin up in northern idaho. one of my favorite ipas flavors are all over the place, sweet, bitter, pungent and a very resiny finish. omhper (25246) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 26, 2009
Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear amber, rocky head. Striking perfumy grapefruity aroma with doughy malt underneath. Medium sweet with really solid makty body. Chewy and potent with massive hop rate and bitterness. Very well crafted IPA on the heavier side of the spectre. Svesse (8613) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 25, 2009
(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 22 Jan 2009) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Hoppy, fruity nose with pine needles, resin, orange peel and grapefruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, grapefruit, caramel and pine needles. Fresh bitterness, but not overwhelmingly bitter. Fairly dry. Medium mouthfeel. Very tasty and nice beer. tiggmtl (4544) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 6, 2009
Chalky character underlies the cereal malt sweetness and citrusy, spicy, pine hop nose. Brilliantly clear copper body is topped by a low but lasting white head that coats the sides of the glass with sudsy lacing. Malt character is a bit lost in the very dry flavour. Mineral, chalky flavour underlies the cirus pine hop flavour. Moderate bitterness and some sweetness in the finish. Dry medium body with decent effervescence that engages the tongue. Snifter. Cellar temperature. Bottle. Bottleworks. Aug-08. zebracakes (1339) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 30, 2008
Bottle. Pours cloudy gold, white head. Aroma is very malty with caramel, almost cloying, some hops. Flavor is hoppy, malty, doughy with some lingering citrus and bitterness.
