Bottle. One of the more flavorful pales I’ve had. Grapefruit and orange rind. Biscuity malt after. Really, really nice!

Bottle: cloudy, murky gold color with an off-white head with some sticky lacing. Lemony, juniper shrub, ginger, and a peppery tanginess. Solid hop flavors with a sturdy malt backbone. Heavy body but also refreshing with some bitter cucumber peel in the aftertaste.

On draught at the Winston in Saskatoon. Pours fairly clear amber, decent head that flattens out, lots of lacing. Smells of pine, sweet toffee and lemon citrus. Taste is malty biscuit with a good balance of mild citrus hop. Easy drinking with moderate complexity. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Nice deep golden with a two finger off white head. Looks good. Lots of lacing. Citra is one of my favorite hops so I expect to enjoy this. That is certainly in the nose. Nice fruit that is tropical and citrus. Floral, too. The latter is tasted more than smelled. The hop is allowed to shine and it does so beautifully. This is good stuff. The finish was a bit on the dry side. That is such a good hop and they did a very good job in showcasing it.

650ml brown bottle. Gold pour, crystal clear. Fat white cap that lasts a long time, good patchy lacework. Hoppy nose with citrus and light tropical notes. Taste has orange peel and grass and mild tropical sweet notes, malt character is rather neutral. Dry finish, quite clean, light lingering bitterness, a bit of grass and grapefruity hops lingering. Decent carbonation and light bodied. A good single hopped sessionable ale that features the Citra hops well.
