Bottle, golden pour with a slight cloudiness to it, minimal head about a fingers worth. Aroma, nice hop presence but not overpowering, some mild citrus notes a bit of pine and some sweet malt. Taste, bitter up front, smooth and not as dry as I was expecting, light grains and a nice malty sweet finish. Really like this, very well balanced, not really anything that overpowers, well done! drjay44 (3854) - Salida, Colorado, USA - APR 14, 2014
651 ml. bottle. Bottled 7/23/13. Pours a medium well retained off white head, with extensive Belgian lacing, over a slightly hazy, light fold (SRM 4) body....nose is light pine, resin, floral honey, hints of cereal....taste is moderately sweet, with light cocoa hints, light rye spice, stronger resin, pine, citrus hints, finishing with a moderate bitterness.....mouth feel, medium body, slight acid, carbonation adds light spritz.. This is a lighter IPA, with the rye not overly present, bitterness constrained, but all in all well balanced. It might be that this bottle is a bit too old. Kind of a sharp cheese aroma. A bit od bitterness and caramel in the flavour. Not bad. FriendOfBeer (101) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Taste is very bready. It has a nice amount of hops. Light citrus aftertaste. This is an easy IPA to take down.

Very nice citrus aroma that mixes with some nice malt. Alcohol is a little too prominent in this one though, and takes away from overall taste. Finishes with medium bitterness. Pours clear orange without much head or lacing. On cask at Churckkey.

cloudy golden ale with nice head. Good drinking IPA. A good beer and easy drinking. bulldogops (2740) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 3, 2014
Rating #879 - January 4, 2013 - 650ml bottle at Metro, 6.9%. This was a deep coppery brown coloured pour with a mild tan foam that faded to a ring. Nose was peach, mandarin orange. Mild alcohol warmth and carbonation.Taste is a mild peppery smokiness from the rye grain, mild toffee and caramel malt sweetness, but a boatload of hop punches, citrusy, grassy. Finishes smooth, nice bitterness. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Hooray! There’s a date on this bottle!!! Bottled 01MAR12 TempeCoyote (63) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - DEC 14, 2013
Pours a light golden beer with a frothy white quilt and excellent clarity. Nose is bursting with tropical fruits of mango, pineapple and then grapefruit comes through slightly sweetened by the malt. Nice nose. Medium bitterness with plenty of fruity hops and some hints of dry and sweet malts. Again, well played Laughing Dog. Medium bodied with moderate carb and a semi dry finish.
Man, I always avoided my local, because they haven’t dated their beers. I have a friend that brews for them and even so, I’ve steered clear unless he’s brought it strait from the brewery. I can this, of the beers I’ve had of theirs, when they’re fresh, they are really, really nice. Hope to see more of this behavior.

22oz bottle. Hazy like a here with thick clean white head. Even with significant hop scents and taste this beer had a strong biscuity, bready taste up front with just a hint of the rye spice I was expecting. The rye is there but this could easily be enjoyed by someone who is not a fan of rye bread because it is not dominating. Hops bring serious citrus zest without a puckering bitterness.

Golden and cloudy with a thick white head. Bottled on 5/25/12 but it still has a fresh taste. Citrusy and hoppy but not too overwhelming.
