Into a seidel. Big three fingers of head that never goes away. Cloudy, dark straw colored body.
Smells of pine, lemon and rye. Lots of rye.
Strong lemon bitter taste, rye with a great spiciness to it. Amazing.
Crisp texture, medium body, lots of fizz.
One of the top rye IPAs.
22 ounce bottle from Costco poured to glass
Sight: light amber, very hazy, big of white foam that slowly goes away
Smell: good, fragrant, hoppy, some grains
Taste: very good, bitter
Feel: very good, lively carbonation, long finish, bitter aftertaste
Overall: very good beer, ok to repeat

I am not sure what happened here. I got some Brett overpowering anything else going on. The aroma is weak, which is disappointing. There is good malt behind this beer but I couldn’t make it past the Brett type yeast taste. bigben873 (258) - Virginia, USA - MAR 24, 2017
Slightly biting IPA, not too bitter, cloudy Amber, not a huge fan of the rye, but not too bad. March madness 2017. hershiser2 (3533) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - DEC 9, 2016
Bomber from Total Wine, Gainesville. Pours pale olden with a giant head... too giant, it spills over the side of my glass making a mess. Aroma is citrus, pine, barnyard. Flavor is barnyard, rye, citrus peel, light floral hops. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - SEP 7, 2016
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a burnt yellow/orange color, slightly glossy/golden with a nice transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace to fill a one finger white foamy sustaining head. Subtle bubbles roam here and there inside of the head. Messy roaming lacing sticks and then slides into the beer.
The aroma starts sticky sweet to lightly spiced rye. Low citric pulpiness and subtle resin helps to balance. Super subtle caramel malt comes out after a bit of warming.
The flavor takes is basically the same with stoked by the rye sweetness. Semi-dry sweet to lightly spiced aftertaste with the same finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides light, feels good.
Overall, good rye IPA that I could come back to.

bottle - discovered at Total Wine in FL. Very nice RYE IPA. The rye did not take away from the big hops. Nice beer JohnGalt1 (1721) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 17, 2015
kay retention with great lacing for the entire glass... the brew is a polished deep golden.
Nose is chock full of resinous hops.. very fruity with a lesser piney hoppiness.. pale malts and hints of toast are there, but only in the background.
Good bitterness up front.. hoppy flavors move in pretty quickly with a pronounced floral profile combining well with the fruity hops.. the pine is much less than the aroma... the malts again have a distinct toasty profile... not getting any real "rye" other than an interesting slickness in the palate that I can only assume is from the rye malt.
Lite/medium body with nice carbonation that seems deflated (in a good way) by the slick mouthfeel. jjgmd (2212) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - NOV 10, 2015
With Z, a bomber, pours a rusty orange color with a sudsy white head. Nose is citrus, and spicy rye. Taste is spicy and yeasty with some funk ! It tastes more like a saison than an IPA, although it has been sitting for dome time in the back of my beer cellar. Finish is spicy and dry and ends on the same tasting notes ! Bomber. Pours a golden orange with an off white head and spiced rye aroma. Taste is spicy as well, with yeast, rye, hops, and malt into the spiced, slightly bitter finish.
