Twist, Stockholm (backlog). Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized thick off-white creamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready and caramelly malts with some slight hops, mild ryebread and some slight toasted notes. Flavour is rather similar with also some rather fudgelike sweetness. Citrusy and grasy in the finish.
Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Elwood. Pours a hazy golden with a gigantic, frothy white head - shaving foam style - that leaves quite some lacework - comes a slow gusher. Odd, unpleasant skunky hop aroma or harsh, old butter - something is terrible wrong here. Medium body, lively carbonation some sweet fruit with a tropical hop edge to it. Ends quite bitter. Taste is better than the smell, but it’s still not a pleasant beer. 160612 Leighton (23107) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2015
Bottle shared at Tampa airport. Pours clear yellow with a frothy white head. The nose has some piney spice, pale bread. Not bad. Theydon_Bois (21865) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2015
