Poured from a 4 pack of 12 oz bottles purchased in MD a dark amber with minimal head.
Aroma über sweet hops.
Flavor is malty sweet with plenty of hops. Honey works here more than many other DIPA. A tasty brew Ctplt777 (533) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - AUG 1, 2015
Big sweet malty aroma followed by a subtle hoppiness. There’s a LOT of malt like a huge syrup sweet farm of malt. Almost too much, this is rough. Tastes is maple syrup, brown sugar and alcohol. This probably sounds delicious to some but this isn’t my cup of ipa. It’s really sweet and almost cloying. I’m not sure about this one, I wish I could have it on draft to see if it’s better but right now the one I have is really sweet and tough to get through. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- A thick smelling blend of strong hops and a touch of malt, very good.
Appearance- Pours a golden brown with a slight amount of haze. Has a medium off-white head.
Taste- A big hop and yeast flavor that hides the high ABV. Really enjoyable.
Palate- A heavy bodied beer with moderate carbonation, has a very creamy texture.
Overall- A very good American DIPA, It is hard to find in Georgia but I would buy it again. clueo (181) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 18, 2015
I like the beer, but it’s a bit sweet for me. The bear pours a bronze color into a goblet glass with a small head. The smell and taste are dominated by honey and citrus. The aftertaste is very smooth. It does not taste like it has 10% ABV at all, which makes it extra "sneaky"... tsd08460 (1243) - Marshall, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2015

Bottle. Pours a transparent amber with a thin ring of off white head. Aroma is interesting. Malty, hops, hints of rye. Taste of is similar to the aroma, with some added caramel. aumentm (750) - North Carolina, USA - MAY 10, 2015
This is a dark hoppy IPA that is smooth and filling. It is very hoppy and statifying. Nice aroma as well. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - APR 21, 2015
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a slim finger’s worth of white foaminess that quickly dissipated leaving some stringy lacing roaming here and there.
The smell had a decent sweet grapefruit with a slight grassiness and a decent caramel malt backbone.
The taste copied the smell and brought in a slight extra citrus to give off a slight bittersweet appeal. A bitter citrus aftertaste leads to a quick dry caramel/citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a more sipping quality about it. The carbonation seemed fairly rounded out, slightly smooth and didn’t have the expected punch that I wanted in a DIPA.
Overall, at 10% and lack of harshness, I’m wondering if this was old. I didn’t see any date on the bottle, probably only have again if I knew it was fresh. radio_nowhere (1474) - Maryland, USA - APR 17, 2015
Draft sample at the Cherry Blossom Beer & Wine fest a week ago, orangy-amber color with off-white head. Aroma notes of grapefruity/citrus/herbal hops and caramel malt sweetness. Taste adds pine/resin, bread and faint honey sweetness. Moderate-heavy body, low-moderate carbonation, thick, dry, sticky with bitter grass/citrus hop finish. Nice strong DIPA. dhasmonek (55) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 8, 2015
Very tasty with good aroma of sweetness. Golden color, but without much head or lacing. It could use more carbonation. High alcohol content of 10%.
