COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sneaky Pete is a blend of five hop types: Simcoe, Glacier, Centennial, Vanguard and Hallertuaer, with Simcoe playing the dominate role at 30%. In addition, three separate malts were used: Honey Malt, Rye Malt, and Munich Malt. The brew has a copious aroma of white grapefruit, citrus overtones, a complex rich middle and long flavors in the finish; a real beauty. Finished with wild clover honey.

Good night! The guy at the store was glad to have this in, and I was interested, but really not prepared for what awaited me. This gentle pour explodes with hop aromas... grapefruit and a bushel basket of others:peach, lemon and orange. Some spices. But the milky beer is also really dense on the palate and has a great malt backing. Really, one of the best-balanced beers I have had the fortune to try. The guy at the store steered me right.

Pours dark orange, very light aroma, some breadiness, light, smooth taste with some hops, medium mouthfeel, it goes down smooth, you’d never believe it’s 10%, very dangerous beer, tap.

12oz can - the pour is a clear golden orange with a thick fluffy yellowish head. Lovely aroma of a funky medicinal citrus, herbal grass and a bready malt. Strange flavors with this one - floral sourness, medicinal lime/citrus, grassy bitterness, hint of cedar and light bready malt.

Copper color with a small lid of ecru bubbles. Sweet grainy to silage laden scents. Yes, there are plenty of hops in the aromas as well with pine and citrus, but the unclean malt spoils things a bit for me. Sweet caramel dominates the flavors in the front. Floor cleaner starts to kick in. mid quaff. A true strong IIPA, with a few dirty edges. 8/11

Great orange/brown color. Smells strong of malt, but quite balanced given 10%.. fair amount of earthy hops as well. Taste is relatively flat, some carbonation.. very balanced for an Imperial.

12oz bottle had to get this is. Portland for some reason we don’t get distro in boise. Pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is big citrus pine hops caramel malt sweetness and a fruit. Taste is more of the citrus forward hop notes along with some pine and a rich malt bill to help balance it out.

Pale amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, mild citrus and faint pine. Taste is largely malty and sweet. Some caramel and molasses and not much bitterness or fruitiness from the hops to speak of. Disappointing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
