Really smells great. Oh yeah, this is tasty. Some strength, but a lot of flavor, a great hop/malt battle. Wow, I have to buy more of this. This is really really good. I mean, I’m eating bacon and it goes well! Bghedtodd (28) - USA - APR 22, 2012
UPDATED: APR 23, 2012 One of my favorites, but must be drank from tulip glass or snifter to mute alcohol. Lots of fruit and hops with a hint of tobacco. Delicious brew. Zombeer (59) - New Jersey, USA - APR 18, 2011

Tap. Copper with cram foamy head that dissipated, light lacing. Smells nice and grape fruity and maybe a little peachy. Nice bitter flavor- not sweet. Nice hoppy finish.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2013 Dark orange/amber. Minimal soapy head. Aroma of mild citrus sweetness and smooth hops. Flavor of sweet citrus beautifully balanced by smooth hop bitterness. Honey finish. Full body. So well balanced with amazing development. Fantastic. phikus01 (112) - New York, USA - APR 30, 2013
A lot of citrus and brown sugar in the aroma. Delicious simcoe caramel honey apricot, nectar like mouth feel with nice lace. Simcoe and honey finish. DocLock (10702) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2011
12 oz bottle from Capone’s. Pours deep ruby coppery with 1-finger frothy clingy off-khaki head. Nose is heavy mango, tropical fruit, papaya, intense resiny hops, big caramel malt. Tastes dense on the palate, super hoppy, with tons of caramel malt to match the hops, a bit of heat, and a medley of tropical fruit throughout. I got mango, black pepper, papaya, star fruit, grapefruit, and a long finish. Delicious. SOmeone shoudl do a study to determine which hops lend to the various peppery, feety, and fruity flavors found in beer and try to quantify those variables, as such. This is a very special ale from a small brewery in northern Idaho. It has all the hallmarks of a great IIPA. I would always put it in my top 5. adrian910ss (2575) - Doylestown, PA, USA - MAR 5, 2011
12 oz bottle. Pours a beautiful translucent reddish copper with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, fruity malts, honey and citrus overtones. Taste of fruity malts, fresh grapefruit, honey and plenty of hops. Fresh and outstanding.
