Draft at the brewpub. I’d call it Amber, not red, but nit-picking. This is nice and frothy, with a sweet malt baseline, well intermingled with a little fruity topping. (#6352, 10/8/2016) Ibrew2or3 (8660) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - OCT 17, 2014
Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice clear copper body that supports a near white head. The aroma is on the mild side where it offers up a little bit of apple fruitiness and maltiness and really not much else going on. The taste is malty as well as being a little bit roasted malts and some kind of pine hoppiness going on. Pretty interesting beer. BVery (10600) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 26, 2013
Tap at Laughing Sun. Rich amber orange pour with a sticky white head. Earthy caramel notes in the taste, aroma is very very mild. Smooth palate with a touch of carbonation zing. fata2683 (2176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - OCT 5, 2013
First to rate! From a growler thanks to Sherman Gallup!! Pours deep amber with a thin tan head, good lacing. Aroma is toast and nutty malts through and through. Really clean aroma. Flavor is nice and balanced with a good hop kick on the back end. Big toast and light caramel with bitter nuts and grassy hops finishing dry. Not bad at all. Thanks again Sherman!!
