draft. caramel sweet malt with fruit cocktail / gelatin hops and floral / waxy / fruity esters. juicy, highly bitter, fruit cocktail sweetness is excessive, body is a bit too chewy. not bad but more like ho-hum typical over-sweet american IPA.

DRAFT at Laurel-wood on Sandy in Portland....pours a darker shade of usual orange IPA....tan head. Good hoppy nose...citris and other astringent scents...good stuff....tastes much the same...went well with my very spicy burrito....will be back

Nice citrus aroma with some floral. Amber in color, clear with a thin head. This is the same beer as the Workhorse but with different hops so that’s why the different name. Very solid beer once again. Great job Laurelwood.

Citrus and floral hops, some pine, pepper, on top of a good dose of caramel malt. Pours darker amber with a thin off white head. The flavor is caramel malty with some citrus and floral hop bitterness rounding out the finish as well as a light dose of pepper.

Bottle... Poured amber/orange with a foamy, white head. Nose had resinous, piney hops. Lots of citrus and a bit of bitterness here. Pepper spice, pine, yeast esters, apricot fruits, and bready malts for a subtle balance.

22 oz bomber from Roth’s Vista Market,Salem. $4.99 Rather dark amber for an IPA but with a pretty eggshell wite head..thats thick and bubbly. Nice hoppy aromas, resiney,piney..nice Taste is like the aroma, but with a good malt balance, semi sweet finish. Ok on the palate but for my tastes it was rather under carbonated. Pretty average IPA really

Draught. Red orange pour. Citrusy aroma with some floral notes. Thin head and much lacing. Restrained hop. Medium to light body. Hoppy finish.
