Dark copper color, small off-white head. Caramelly aroma with notes of citrus. Light to medium-bodied. Some caramelly, nutty flavors. Light bitterness in the finish. Decent session ale.
A: The pour is a light brown color with a thin off-white head.
S: A nice bit of nuttiness on the aroma along with sweet toasted and bready malts. Light hop aromas that are earthy in nature. A touch of tea on the nose, making it truly English.
T: Strangely grassy on the flavor. Moderately bitter, which isn’t really appropriate for this kind of beer. Slightly nutty with some floral notes and a touch of toffee sweetness.
M: Medium body with a fairly high level of carbonation.
O: Not a terribly good brown ale, especially not an English one. Would pass on this one.
