On tap at laurelwood Portland pub. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is pineapple dank hops and a nice sweetness. Taste is more of the pineapple dank hops and a nice end. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 24, 2015
sample at NIIPAC IIPA CHALLENGE @Gene McCarthy’s, Buffalo, NY. solid IIPA, citrusy forward bitterness with pretty substantial caramel malt background. Solid raphael (1254) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 17, 2015
On tap at NWIPA. Skunky resin overwhelm on the aroma, with some toasted wood, caramel & alcohol. Lighter in mouth than expected-which means its dangerously easy to drink. Veautiful orange amber (umber), modest white head. tastes like it smells but more subtly and cleanly. smooth finish Koskela (505) - Marysville, California, USA - JAN 10, 2015
Sure enough like the bottle says i get the citrus and the fruit with a hint of pine all combined with a nice malty undertone in this hazy redish orange brew with virtualy no head. The fllavor is indeed hoppy but the malt reduces the bitterness significantly. There is a fruity grassy flavor from the hops with a nice sweetness that compliments nicely. It is a relatively full bodied brew with a good carb. In the aftertaste i get a touch of butterscotch or a slight earthy flavor. Great brew PhilJackson80 (531) - Oklahoma, USA - DEC 14, 2014

Slightly hazy light amber color with a one finger off white head. Lots of pine resin and citrus rind in the nose. This is a nice, chewy hop juice IIPA with lots of pine resin, candied grapefruit rind, peach, and a nice warming alcohol bloom in the finish. Very easy drinking for the ABV and all the hops. sloth (2905) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - NOV 7, 2014
Large off white head, good retention, minimal lace. Hazy, orange colored brew. Danky nose, sweet malts. Body is full, chewy, soft carbonation.Semi sweet malts up front with piny citrus notes. Tad earthy. Fairly dry finish, tame bite. Not bad. Thanks 5K! Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - OCT 28, 2014

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy citrus, light mango, peach, and grapefruit. It pours a mostly transparent amber with a soapy two finger off-white head that has good retention and leaves behind some clumpy lacing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate citrus/orange with light mango and peach. There are some faint notes of caramel in the background. The finish has mild grapefruit, herbal hops, and light lemon. There’s no sign of the 9.5% abv. It’s medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall, this is pretty tasty and drinks way too easy for 9.5%.
Bomber. Dark honey golden pour with a half-inch of sudsy off-white head. Strong notes of hops oil, pine resin, mint and ripe citrus in the aroma. Taste is an aggressive blend of tropical fruit, grapefruit and resiny hops bitterness with a bit of pine and lemon around the edges. Also a noticeably chewy caramel malt presence holding it all together. Overall, an impressively massive DIPA.
