4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is one that I NEVER thought I would have seen without a trip to PDX... Instead it was enjoyed 4-5 times tonight at the 10 Barrel IPA fight/fest.
Pours a light orangish with a tight white head.
This is one of the most hop forward beers I have ever had and still is a "bit" balanced... tons of tropical fruits and huge citrus zest... tangerine/red grapefruit.... and hints of pine on the finish.
Lighter than should be body... carbonation is nice.
For 9+% this is a teddy bear... drinkability is off the charts... super beer for sure.
Draft 12 oz pour at Hop and Hound. Glowing orange pour with a thin oily head. Orange fruit and spicy hops aroma. I love an IPA that fights in heavyweight ibu class. Orange and dusty hops. Juicy, with an appropriate bitterness that lingers. Ideal IIPA overall. Punches you good too. Ferris (16302) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 13, 2016

Hazy bright amber and copper color with generous compact head. Very nice aroma of pungent hops, Nelson Sauvin? Soft mouthfeel, a bit of caramel flavor and sweetness but not chewy; plenty of resiny hops, a bit orangey; more caramel in the end. I’d like more crackery malts, but this is also excellent.
Big fruity nose lots of grapefruit dank and passion fruit soft dough and toasted malt backbone. Golden orange beer great head and lace. Flavors of grapefruit passion fruit citrus and dank. Malt base is lightly sweet and doughy with a little toast. Lingering grapefruit. Drinks easily for 9%. Great beer. Arayaga2 (2254) - portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 2, 2016
Hazy orange amber with a bit of white head. Aroma is juicy red grapefruit and other citrus, and taste is the same. Not overly or generically bittered, it’s nice and drinkable, without too much alcohol taste, either. $5/22oz

Tasted from a bomber (thanks Pablo951). It poured a beautifully rich copper with a frothy head and plentiful lacing. Bold fruity hop nose. This IPA tickles the tastebuds. Big hop flavor with mild bitterness. Best beer I've rated in quite a while.
"Thank you sir, may I have another?!"

Listen up, don’t make me break out my Megafauna!!
This brewski’s aroma just inappropriately assaulted my nostrils and I liked it!! This is one thick hopped aroma with a sweet florally underlie. Awesome malt, Hop, citrus flavor. Murky amber color. Had it out of a bomber! Your Momma!! MarinaMarket (254) - POULSBO, Washington, USA - JUL 26, 2015
Delicate stone fruit aroma. Some floral notes. Amazing full rich flavor, great mouthfeel, and superbly balanced for a highly hopped strong ale. The palate is exquisite. Tasted at 58F. stchloe (1104) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Really quite amazing IIPA, good balance of hops between tropical fruity notes well balanced by a little pineyness, medium full body, amber malts balances well, a big beer without being overwhelming. cmonster (1000) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Bottle. Served in a tulip. Pours deep clear honey with a medium off-white frothy top. Big aroma of resin, pine, grapefruit and orange citrus. Is better as it warms a little. Medium sweet smooth attack followed closely by substantial grapefruity bitterness. Great balance in this one. Full body, creamy-oily texture, mild carbonation, and a long consistent bitter finish. A brilliant IIPA.
