A dark amber and a white lacing head. A hop aroma with some malty notes. The flavor is hoppy and bitter up front with some pine notes as well. Some malt for balance.
Bottle - Malty orange with lots of caramel. Clear amber and a beige head. Sweet caramel and light hop bitterness. Very malty and nice. mcberko (18925) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 8, 2016
12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy amber orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, toasted caramel, and light resinous hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted dry caramel, bready malt, and faded hop resins. Pretty laid back, but reasonably balanced. It’s alright. Have had from bottle and on tap. Pours out a copper amber topped with a sand head. Nose is sweet caramel malt some bread along with a nice hop addition. Taste is more of the caramel malt sweetness and a nice crisp hop balance. neepsntatties (2041) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 14, 2016
Ha! Can’t recall how many times I’ve had this and yet haven’t rated it til now.
Colour...deep, clear amber with a corpulent off white head. Nose...pretty hoppy for an amber, with hints of biscuits and spent grain. Palate...crisp and slightly sweet, but definitely hoppy. In fact this is likely the hoppiest amber I ever had! The mid palate brims with hops and the finish is brisk and refreshing. zgaier (1962) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JAN 6, 2016
Bomber. Pours a copper red with an off white head and malty aroma. Taste is malty as well, with hops coming through along with caramel and bready notes into the finish.

With Z, pours an amber red color with a very flat head. Nose is sweet citrus with some caramel and toffee. Taste is a nice confluence of hops with sweet caramel vanilla malt. Full of flavo and drinks quite nicely. Finishes on the same well balanced malty hoops notes with a dry moderately abrupt ending.

12oz bottle from a six pack that was gifted to me. Unfortunately, I always steer clear of hoppy and malt beers that have a penchant for caramel flavors. Hey, guess what, this is exactly that and I really don’t like that flavor combo. Who does? Who do I give the rest of these beers. jsnicholas (679) - Woodinville, Washington, USA - OCT 19, 2015
Bottle (12oz $2) Reddish orange with thin head. Starts out malty - slightly sweet and fruity, but ends with some bitterness. Medium body. Danbus (55) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - AUG 5, 2015
Unassuming red that is refreshing with a clean mouthfeel. You still get a blast of hoppy goodness that belies its light aroma and slight head.
