Jet black. Amazing espresso flavor. Amazing. Not much head, no lacing. More coffee than stout. Some oats would make this close to a 5. Thanks aaron.
Bomber from Taniguchi. Made with Portland Roasting Coffee this beer pours a deep inky black with a thick tan head and has a nice sweet espresso aroma that gives a touch of fruits and roast character.brewerij (1) - - OCT 31, 2016 does not count
Medium to Full bodied with a scratchy carbonation. The taste is a somewhat acrid dark bitter roasted coffee, some chocolate and a bit of lactose sweetness in the finish.
A good beer to sip on a cold winter afternoon.
Great stout, full rich body with good coffee flavor. One high point is the lack of alcohol taste, a rarity for many a stout these days.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of espresso beans and roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of espresso beans upfront, with a little roast and a touch of cocoa. Medium bodied and pretty monolithic. Very nice. mintzmeet (457) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 16, 2016
Great aroma of roasted espresso grounds. Dark brown black with nice stouty cream head. Nice sweet espresso flavor. Almost like a sweet stout. Great simple coffee stout. Not too burnt. fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 31, 2015

Expected black, instead it’s dark mahogany, clean, with beige nitro head. Nice roasted malt aroma. Smooth mouthfeel, lightly sweet, some roasted malt, some coffee, but also some taste of "bad" coffee. More roastiness in the final.
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2016 Draft at Moriartys. Opaque black/brown pour with just a slight amount of khaki foam. Strong cold espresso aroma. Silky oily body. Big roasty coffee flavors but not much else. Done pretty well. No wrong notes. nealblind (1849) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - DEC 8, 2015
