Pours a dark orange with a slight red tint. With a thick creamy head with good lacing. Smells of cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg and ginger. Tastes of all the same things but the roasted pumpkin flavor shines through and is slightly hoppy. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with medium carbonation and a semi dry finish. Overall this as a pumpkin ale that you can actually taste the pumpkin more than the spices which is kind of nice for a change.

Bomber from work. Aroma is strong in pumpkin pie spices like nutmeg, clove, maybe cinnamon, bread crust. Pours hazy amber with a medium cream-colored head with decent retention and a little lace. Taste is just like pumpkin pie with some beery hop bitterness thrown in. Its a little like Pumking in its similarity to pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread, but it also has a significant hoppy bitterness to play off the sweetness. This is an excellent pumpkin beer, standing out from the majority out there.

Visual: Pours clear copper brown with a very small dissipating head, just a touch of lacing, thick ring of retention, steady spread out clusters of activity.

Nose: cinnamon-nutmeg-clove trifecta mixed with toffee malts and baked pie crust (lvl-6)-intensity

Attack: crisp numbing bite, incoming sticky sweetness

Mid-palate: cascading creamy-tingly mouthfeel, (lvl-7-sweetness), toffee barley malt, pumpkin

Finish: residual cloying sweetness, soft hopped pie spiced bitterness mixed with toffeed barley malt.

Summary: A ton of pumpkin pie spices but an overly sweet drinking experience halfway through the bottle. The lingering spices at the finish leaves a somewhat unpleasant gag reflex, for me at least anyway.

Hazy dark amber color. Strong, malty, but pretty heavy on the spices; sweet.
Not too fond of spice beers, but its professionally brewed.

22 oz bottle- Pours clear dark orange with a thin light tan head. Aroma is raw pumpkins and pumpkin spice, there is a bit of tartness reminiscent of cranberries. The taste is again real pumpkins mixed with the usual pumpkin spices, hops impart a dryness following through past the swallow. One of the few pumpkin beers that isnt all spices, and i appreciate that, nice beer.

Hazy honey colored with a dense, dimpled cm of off-white head. Aroma is earthy, with all the standard spices. Taste is the same, with a nice, solid maltiness and the appropriate vegetal pumpkinness, but it still finishes clean, with a very light astringency. $4/22oz

Pie spice aroma but the spices really back off on the tongue, which is kind of nice for a (pumpkin beer) change. Some bitterness in the finish is a bit distracting.

Bomber 7.5% from Capital Market. Just called Pumpkin Ale. Deep hazy amber in color. Mildly sweet nose with a sort of subdued spice character. Nutmeg and cinnamon dominate. Smooth pumpkin flavor with a nice spiced quality. Nice smooth body with a lightly hoppy finish. Tasty pumpkin brew.

Draft at Laurelwood SE. First pumpkin beer of the fall. A: Red to the point of ruby, thin white head. N: Pumpkin, all-spice, clove, cinnamon, graham cracker, earth, biscuit, hint of pine, more of the hop leaves. T: Sweet and spicy. Fairly bitter, too. M: Medium light body, crisp carbonation, and no alcohol. O: A decent pumpkin beer that, however, has too many hops. They threaten to overpower the squash - but I like that this is a pumpkin beer which aims to be pumpkin and beer and not faux pumpkin pie.

Bomber dated 07.15.15. Poured into a pub glass today. A: Pumpkin pie and vanilla. A: 2 finger head. Recedes to a thinner layer of foam. See through reddish amber body with lots of streaming bubbles. T: Pumpkin pie but a bit muted. P: Watery. O: It smells better than it tastes. The flavor just isnt very strong. Its ok, but not great.
