Picked this up last night at Brewforia Meridian... Paid too much. Poured tonight into my HotD goblet with an off white head atop a slightly hazy orange brew.
Nose shows big citrus but a very pronounced maltiness that really mutes the hops.
Flavor mirrors the nose.. IMO, this is really not very good... pithy citrus hoppiness and a thick malt profile that doesn’t jive with the brew.
Body seems a bit thick... but I am thinking this could be an old bottle from Brewforia, wouldn’t surprise me.
Enjoying the hell out of this 22 oz bottle of ale on a sunny Friday afternoon! Can’t think of anything I’d rarher be drinking. Bottle is a gift from the Laurelwood Restaurant, Terminal A, Portland International Airport. piscator34 (2673) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 15, 2017
Draft at Laurelwood PDX. Pale gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of citrus blossom, fresh kitchen herbs, and a touch of old fashioned soap. Flavors are of juniper, blood orange, soap, coriander, cut grass, and pale malt. Medium bodied with a sharp bitterness. stantheman (1104) - British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2016
Bomber from Liquor Barn in North Burnaby. A medium amber ale with generous white head and faint hop nose. Intensely bitter, slightly citrus fruity, decent malt background, long bitter finish. Crisp and refreshing. 4 crispaire (255) - - NOV 23, 2016
average all the way through. while pleasant, the aromatics are just par for the IPA course. the flavor profile is lackluster as well with over the top hops. not to say this is a "bad" beer, just many better options in the Portland IPA scene. olio (10695) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 8, 2016

Pours clear golden color with a small head. Resinous hops on the nose, pine, orange, some malts. Flavor is orange fruity, bitter malty, resinous hoppy, sweet caramel on the finish. Okay.
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2016 650ml bottle from Canada Craft Club. Aroma: intense grapefruits, pines, herbs and old hops mixed with big malt. App: cloudy copper, medium white head leaving good lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, fluffy and resinous, lots of grapefruits, malted and bitter finish. Overall: meh. Wonder if this bottle is old or just really malt forward. Anyway this is not my cup of tea. A west coast ipa not that pleasant to drink. Should’ve shared it instead of drinking 3 sips and dp the rest. Way too much based on grapefruits and malt. Bottle: Poured an orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and light grapefruit notes with some bitter notes. Taste is a good mix of grapefruit and citrusy hops with some bitter hoppy notes and light residuals sugar notes with some good malt presence. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nothing earth shattering and maybe tad more bitter then I would like but still good overall. robinvboyer (4814) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2016
Big sticky pine resins, and big, sweet, bready, boozy, caramelized malts. Oily mouth feel, sticky lacing on the glass, and a medium carb.. The finish is slightly woody, with some dank, resinous hops. Wet hop cones, hints of citrus, finishes is medium bitter with a strong sticky pine finish. This is a in ipa, bordering on double. bulldogops (2874) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 22, 2016

22 oz bottle from Tavour shared with drsordr. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, grassy, earthy, floral hops, hops seem old, some bitterness but I expected this would be better.
