Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma is quite sweet with notes of prunes, over ripe fruits, caramel, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruit, caramel, nuts, wood, and alcohol, very complex and nice - like I like a Doppelbock. The end is sweet, alcoholic and dry. madsberg (11770) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2007
Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Ripe fruits, liqourice and spice is dominating this nice brew both in aroma and flavour. Alcohol and sweetness in the flavour as well. Meidium bodied. Has a sweet alcoholdense end. Nice one.

Bottled. Clear dark red beer, with a small head. aroma of malt and caramel. The flavour is very malty, roasty and sweet, with some bitterness and notes of caramel and a little chocolate. The body is strong and there is some alcohol presence that doesn’t disturb too much. A strong warming beer. pivnizub (10624) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 12, 2007
Bottle: Deep amber coloured, hazy, mid-sized off-white head, quickly diminishing to a small foamy off-white layer; fruity (dry black fruit), dark malty (with a tinge of vanilla) and also hoppy aroma; sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; sweet and also a bit herbal bitter finish. All in all a moreish Doppelbock with a pretty balance............ Grovlam (4247) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2007
Bottle. Head was average creamy like with an off-white foamy glow. Slight lacing was to be found. Aroma was lovely with notes of heavy rye bread, grain, toasted, molasses, and caramel and dry fruit. Medium to full bodied with a flat carbonation. Even do this beer is heavily sweet, it somehow feels slightly dry in the texture. Finish was sweet and ligers in mouth for a long time. Excellent doublebock!

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet roast-malty aroma with caramel and fruity accents. Sweet flavour, full body, well-carbonated, mellow mouthfeel. Strong malty, roasted taste with caramel and notes of liquorice; sweet malty finish with roast- and hop-bitter notes and a lasting aftertaste. The first one of the Lauterbacher Bock-collection, which has a pretty good balance. Pleasant, decent Doppelbock. Emil (6065) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2007
Bottle. A ruby beer with a big beige head, good looking. The aroma is of caramel malt, corn in the good way and rye bread. The taste is of caramel malt, rye bread and dark fruits. Medium to full body with a sweet warming alcoholic finish. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 3, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, warm nutty brown with a tall, dense, creamy and almost cappuchinoish head. Full, sweet aroma of roasted malt. Very full-bodied with roasted malts, overripe fruit and even a touch of licorice. Dry, lightly hoppy finish. Lovely indeed. 251206 flemmingwillum (1208) - Nysted, DENMARK - DEC 28, 2006
Opague, but not especially nice looking light brown beer with a rough and neverlasting head. Hopped and malty with a lot of rye bread notes and a nice spicyness that might be nutmeg or cardamum in the aroma. Flavor is very dominated by the malts that for some reason is very rye-like (the ingredient description does not mention rye). It is a very sweet beer, but with a good amount of hops to make an OK balance. Medium body, but very nice and creamy.
