Dark amber color; creamy head. Malty aroma, caramel, molasses, sweet wood. Strong body structure, with a lot of malt and caramel, a bit buttery; a touch of chocolate; sweet but not sticky; warming alcohol; correct bitterness. Good but simple. CEZ (420) - Milano, ITALY - SEP 22, 2006
[bottle] Pours a brown translucent body with a small beige head. Smells like coca-cola (caramel) with a slightly fruity touch. Malty sweet, smooth, easy to drink, hides alcohol well. Finish is Unfortunately it’s also rather mono-dimensional and light-bodied. Less alcohol, a thicker texture and a bolder taste would be appreciated. bierkoning (13810) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 14, 2006
Bottle from MoritzF. Sugary sweet raisinny aroma and flavor, but the sweetness doesn’t hide the alcohol. Molasses and chocolate. Not too thick, just a bit more than medium bodied. Lack of balance, once again. Dorqui (2298) - Brescia, ITALY - AUG 10, 2006

Much voluminous head, nut color, good persistence. Much dark color, nearly black; impenetrable and dense. Alcoholic and toasted scent with bitterish notes of wood, toasted malt and alcohol. Not much pungent taste but good alcoholic impact. Complex with notes of braced caramel, resin, and roast malty. Bitter at the beginning and sweetish on the end. Interesting.
