Sampled at the 2012 Lansdale Beer Fest. Don’t remember anything about this one due to the large quantitiy of samples that day.
I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours dark brown to black with a tan head. The aroma is roasty coffee and chocolate. The taste is chocolate, coffee, bread, and hops. It's smooth with a nice bitterness. yespr (48954) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2017

bottle @ House of 1000 Beers / New Kensington PA --- Aroma of toasted malt, chocolate, and rye. Nearly opaque brown / black color, generous deep tan fluffy head that stays a long time at three fingers, big stripes of lace. Taste is toasted malt combined with bitter mocha (coffee and chocolate), not really any discernible rye for me. (bottle - 12 oz) Dark brown pour with a thick tan head. Bitter hops in the aroma over top of a subtle chocolate and coffee blend. Rye dryness at the start of the flavor with a chocolate and coffee middle. Very bitter middle that lingers on into the aftertaste.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy tan head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was coffee, roasty malts, bitterness, smoke and wood.
