Taste is malt and dark fruit that grows stronger and heavier as it moves through light carbonation to a finish that has hops, fruitcake fruit, and alcohol. Strong and heavy. Purchased a 22 oz. bottle @ Wegmans in Wilkes Barre, PA. Darker ruby/ brown color with thin head. Aroma is a mild pine with a deeper caramel and light citrus over top the caramel. The base malt is caramel toffee with some toasted grain. The hops and bitterness has a West Coast feel with a solid amount of pine with citrus as an after thought. The bitterness has a resin feel that lingers for a good amount after the sip. The ABV doesn’t show itself much and overall a nice drink.

Sampled on draft this beer poured an orange-brown color with a large foamy-soapy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and tart with fruity hops, pine and caramel. The flavor was bitter and tart with notes of citrus, pine, tropical fruits and caramel. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.
