4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Beautyiful hazy amber color on pour with a full long-lasing head thru out the whole beer, good lacing, The beer’s generous conditioning releases the fruity raspberry aroma immediately. First taste is tart with a nice blend of fruit, brett and wheat all rolled into an evenly balanced brew. The hops balance the sweetness to a degree but do last until the finish. This beer is not overstated in any area and is a perfect summer beer, especially for those who like flavored beers.
bottle at Gene McCarthy’s. blonde orangish pour, perfumy raspberry, light oakiness, higher carbonation . active mouthfeel. artificial raspberry notes. Still liked though Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - SEP 19, 2013
Pours a hazy pinkish blonde color with two fingers of fizzy foam. The nose is bright raspberry a touch of funk and seltzer. The palate follows... a bit of wet oak, raspberry sweetness and seltzer water... flat body a bit stale. Meh taste kinda like a raspberry seltzer water with musty old oak chips. Not really feeling it. hopdog (12816) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 5, 2013
22oz bottle. Poured a cloudy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Fruity, berries, and yeast. A lighter woodiness. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Pours unclear murky dusty rose amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet faint berries with young farmhouse and wild yeast, no funk. Flavor brings raspberry soda, bland and yeast that is undeveloped. I think with six more months it would improve.
