I love, love, love this beer. It smells AMAZING! Bringing in all the smells of the season...pumpkin, nutmeg...a spicy smell with a satisfying taste that’s just right...not too overwhelming. tcmc25 (3) - hamburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 22, 2013 does not count
Great pumpkin ale. Smooth, balanced with a slightly sweet finish. More beer and less pumpkin flavor. Quality beer from a great brewer. Homebrewerguy (320) - Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 2, 2014
IMO this is the perfect pumpkin ale. Not overwhelming in any area and perfectly balanced. It’s beer that happens to be flavored, not the opposite. If you want a pumpkin pie, then, by all means, get one of the many over-the-top pumpkin ales out there. beergodd1 (401) - Conneaut, Ohio, USA - FEB 4, 2012
Pours a cloudy burnt orange, with a quickly disappearing tan head.
Smells of Strong pumpkin with typical pumpkin pie type spices. But the real Strength of this brew is the Taste. Full bodied with good sweet smooth finish. Like pumpkin pie, a good dessert beer with a creamy body. It’s Not my Favorite Pumpkin Ale (Weyerbacher) But its probably top 5. PGHbeer77 (571) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 24, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 6, 2013 12 oz. draft at Sharp Edge with Bill 2012. Big head over a bronze cloudy pour, not much of a scent, just some spice and and a touch of sweetness, with a medium bodied, silky texture. Dry pumpkin veggie more than sweet pie flavor. A nice autumn day drinker instead of a dessert like some other pumpkin ales.

Very nice mellow Pumpkin beer, plenty of spices, cloves and nutmeg, but not too much. Nice orangish slightly cloudy amber with nice head and fragrance. Bottle from Graziano’s pizza, Lawrenceville, PA stangger (619) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 2, 2012
Interesting pumpkin. Light, sweet flavor with biscuit and bread. Given the glut of similar pumpkins, a nice different taste. DocLock (11048) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 27, 2012
Bomber from Wegman’s Collegeville. Pours turbid dark ruddy orangy brown with 1-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is intense fresh pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, graham crackers. Tastes rich, complex, with a fresh pumpkin taste that has that slight vegatal flavor and not an oversweet or fake pumpkin flavor, plus malt, biscuity graham crackers, and a good but not overwhelming amount of spiciness. This one is delicious.
