Intense tropical fruits, sweet but not overripe, mango, papaya, sweet citrus fruits, orange, tangerine, pine, light grass, floral green hops. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Medium sweet. More sweet, rich, ripe tropical fruits, papaya, mango, bitter passion fruit, tangerine, orange peel, pine, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Outstanding IPA, truly crazy aroma, fantastic palate, so complex and yet so balanced. Keg at Fool’s Gold, Bowery. BeerMuse45 (13) - - AUG 16, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2017 Yes definitely good. Overrated tho. Feel like Sip of Sunshine and Nimble Giant are trying to do the same thing. Troegs does it better. Agree with supernova down there. BierMeHoos (611) - Maryland, USA - AUG 14, 2017
Where: A gift enjoyed at a tasting event, thanks Maxbier and dlovell2 and Steve.
How: Poured from a can.
Appearance is a golden orange color with big head. Aroma is citrusy and tropical hops up front with a good balancing malt, and some floral notes. Taste is right off the nose, starts off with tropical and floral hops that are greeted with a moderate bitterness, nice balance of malty and sweet, finishings tropical and hoppy. Palate is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a very hoppy and on the bitter side, yet balanced super drinkable DIPA. Huge props to Dan for providing this to our tasting event, awesome! califrht (1) - - AUG 11, 2017 does not count

Rating #2533 - 2016.05.05 - Sample at BrewExpo at CBC in Philly. Was chatting with the sampler and made a Len steal my sunshine reference. He didn’t get it. I was embarassed, but not for me. Pours a rich golden, small white head, minimal lacing. Aroma is tangerine, pine, and lemon peel On the palate, similar tropical flavours, mild resin, mild pine needle. Medium bodied and extraordinarily balanced. Call Professor Lupulin because I’m now a motherfucking werewolf.

The Publick House, Boston. Creamy head, rich clearish orange gold. Sweet, full hop. Rich, acidic and old school bitter IPA. Lots of dense citrus hops, with some resin edges. Fairly bright overall. Honey sweetness. Very dry, full finish. Very nice. Pintofjoe29 (56) - Dingman Ferry, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 21, 2017
This pours a nice looking honey gold with a white head. Aroma of hops, lemon, cat. Flavor is citrus and lemon with hop bitterness. Very easy drinking and smooth. I liked this but feel its a bit overrated tmoreau (4435) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUL 18, 2017
Shared 16 oz. can poured to snifters showing a hazed, orangey/gold color, a modest, soft white layer of head foam, with dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was dank & lightly resinous, earthy with a touch of barn scent, and some citrusy grapefruit & lemon. Light to medium bodied, with fair carbonation, the taste added moderate citrus & rind bitterness, with slight, mellowing malt. Hidden alcohol sealed the deal on my style opinion as a less than DIPA offering. tekstr1der (491) - New Hampshire, USA - JUL 14, 2017
slightly hazy golden With massively sticky top of bone white. (4.5) Aromas of pine, mango, peach and slight malt (4.25). Flavor follows similarly with a bite of hop bitter throughout, and a bit of booze showing in the finish (4.0). Finishes somewhat dry with lingering bitter (3.75) Overall not worthy of the hype (4.0).
