16 oz can, packaged 9/21/17. Pours slightly hazy orange gold with a medium bubbly white head that retains fairly well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is cracker malts with piney resiny hops and a little fruit.

The flavor is sweet soft fruit with big resiny piney hops with decent bitterness and a lightly sweet fruit finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a nice DIPA. I remember it being a bit fruitier with less resin and better balanced on tap.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2017 One of the smoothest — straight from start to finish — IPAs I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. Amazing considering the ABV of 8%. It is true craftsmanship at its finest.

Thanks MacBoost. From a tall boy can. Pours a darkish golden glow with minimal white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruits, lemon zest, light malts, doughy yeast. Taste is of citrus hops, grass, light malts, resiny and bitter finish. Light to medium mouthful. Dry finish. Pretty good overall.

On tap poured a clear golden hue w/ medium fizzy white head. Moderate floral citrus aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish. Tastes are grapefruit, lime, and a light straw. Medium bodied. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft pour at Culpepper's Pub & Grill. Appearance is cloudy dark yellow with huge white foamy head, nice retention, and soapy lacing. Aroma is strong grapefruit and citrus. Taste like aroma with nice amount of bitter to balance the sweet. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma/flavor and nice balance but not as complex as some others.

Golden pour with a single finger head and lots of lace. Aroma is sweet, citrus, blood orange. Taste is full of blood orange, grapefruit, orange pith, fairly sweet. Finishes with a kiss of dryness. Reminds me a bit of Three Floyds Dreadnaut. Medium body.

Grumbo (3754) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2017
