Back log bottle#62 batch#187 thanks to Toby. Pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is pine fruity tropical hops and some sweetness. Tatse is more of the nice sweet notes and an amazing combo of hops. Stoned99 (1742) - St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 15, 2016
Half glass at Prohibition Pig. Aroma: piney, tropical fruits on a slightly malted background. App: cloudy golden with small white head and good lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, light to medium sweetness, medium clean bitter finish. Overall: well done. Good balance between the malt and hops. Bulk_Carrier (6064) - Vermont, USA - JAN 8, 2016
I’m not usually one to pour AIPA’s into tulips. But thinking this was a DIPA, I did and so I kept it in this for shits and giggles. Okay, well, here’s the rest.
The appearance was a burnt golden color with a one finger white foamy head that held up for great retention and dissipated at a nice pace into a concave sort of glazing all around.
The smell had some sweet danky onion, tropical fruity bliss and as it warmed bitter piney/resinous aromas wrapping together.
The taste had the bitterness of the pine coinciding with the tropical fruity hops. Bitter juicy to semi-sprucy aftertaste runs into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium in body with a good sipping to almost sneaky sessionable feel to it. Carbonation feels good for an AIPA allowing enough bitterness all around.
Overall, I’d say this was an exceptional AIPA that I would love to have again. bellco33 (860) - Willington, Connecticut, USA - DEC 22, 2013
On tap at The Reservoir: Pours amber with a two finger white head. Aroma floral, a little grapefruit, and other tropical fruits. Slightly sweet taste well balanced with citra and centennial hops. Incredibly smooth, a little oily, and medium bodied. Really nice IPA. Ataraxia (590) - California, USA - DEC 22, 2013
Clear bright golden color, dense off-white froth. Softer aroma of grapefruit, orange, mango, and pale malt. Light sweetness followed by even milder bitterness. Very smooth, though a little oily, and light-bodied. Almost no alcohol presence

Draft at prohibition pig in Waterbury. Pours a nice golden haze with a little head. Amazing citrus and piney flavor typical of most vt IPAs

Bottle... Clear golden pour with a small, wispy, white head. The aroma is a mélange of musky, grapefruity and tangerine-like hops. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. The great hop flavor is bitter, but not overly so. Lengthy, crisp, bitter finish. Bottle courtesy of landhoney! umich03jm (3512) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Bomber. Pours a hazy amber color with a small foamy head that fades normally and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is somewhat musty, nice citrus, tropical fruit, light pine, light flowers. Taste has a strong caramel malt base to go with the citrus and tropical fruit hops. Very light sweetness, moderate bitterness. Finish is slightly dry. Medium body, a little foamy in the mouthfeel. Solid IPA but not one of my favorites. JulienHuxley (6061) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 3, 2013
Bottle. Hazy gold pour with lacy white head. Aroma is quite lemony, some piney notes, typical VT IPA (take that west coast!), lemongrass, light fruity malts. Taste is a tad more bitter than other similar IPAs, still quite fruity, light alcohol feel.
