Surprise tap at BCTC ’12. Yay!
Average clear pale gold color. Hard, soda-like carbonation.
Smells of sharp sweat, drained puss, iron, & moldy yard clippings.
Gentle, initial powdered sugar apple sweetness turns brighter as it goes. Moderately acidic, with a talcy/mineral finish. The brett stink strayed from barnyard & went a bit too far into body odor territory I thought. Difficult to get an untainted sip. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 8, 2012
Pouring at BCTC. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Funky brett and cheesy tones. Medium bodied, sweet apples and pears. Long tart acid, funky and musky. Very nice.
