UPDATED: MAR 24, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Alex! Cloudy orange & amber body with a soapy, eggshell head that settles rather quickly. Aroma is full of light pine, flowers, perfume, light hints of citrus peel in the finish. Clean & hopped, not much malt. Taste is bitter pines, pungent floral notes, perfume, heavy grass, light white pepper, & some finishing citrus peels. Pale cracker malt in the finish, but mostly pungent pines. Very nice brew.
Bottle: Poured a clear yellow with white bubbles. Aroma is nice hoppy. Taste is sweet hops. zizzybalubba (1887) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - OCT 24, 2016
Shared at the October bottle share at The Hop Yard, Raleigh, NC. Hazy yellowish-orange pour. Aroma of sticky pine needles and wet grass. Bitter taste of pine, grapefruit, and pineapple. Outstanding! One of the best IPAs I have ever tried. Slipstream (2710) - USA - OCT 21, 2016
Draft at Mad Taco. Pretty sweet pale ale with a fresh hop taste. Chinook must be a pretty mellow hop. A little caramel and fresh picked herbs. Lawson’s does it again. Sudz4Dayz (163) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 15, 2016
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2016 22oz bottle purchased at the Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, VT. Pours dark orange, caramel looking, nice and slightly hazy with a fizzy/foamy off white head. Smells malty, hoppy, slight citrus and hints of sweet caramel. Tastes very malty, hoppy, slight caramel and very bitter. Very West Coast in the sense that it strays away from the citrus juice bombs you get in a Trillium or a Hill Farmstead. Nice complete mouthfeel. Pretty good. nealblind (1979) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - MAY 11, 2016
Hazy yellow pour. Aroma big cannabis, tobacco, peachy fruit. Tastes bitter tobacco, nectarines. spruce. Pinenuts. Resin palate. Super clean. All the flavors work together.

Fresh bottle in Vermont. This is one unusual ale. It smells fruity -- mangos and a fair amount of orange juice -- but it tastes earthy and piney. I’ve never had a single hop Chinook IPA before, so I am chocking it up to the hop variety, but this is a chameleon of a beer. BuckeyeBoy (8656) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 9, 2015
22oz bottle thanks to Steve. Pours out a hazy golden topped with a small head. Nose is a little catty pine and citrus. Taste is more of the heavy hops bitterness and a nice malt bill. jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - APR 5, 2015
Bottle into a wine glass at Split Thy Skull barley wine fest. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of floral and piney and light grapefruit hops, pale and caramel malts, and dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not bad at all. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 28, 2015
Pours a hazy golden with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of resinous hops and light onion. Taste is sweet and moderately bitter, offers flavors of caramel, fruits and onion. Body is medium and carbonation medium-medium-high. Overall a fair IPA, a bit weak by Lawson’s Finest standard though. mabel (9874) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2014
