Bottle… This beer rocks!… Clear golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma furnishes fruity, earthy and musky notes of cat piss and grapefruit rind. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and laid-back carbonation. Flavorful and mega bitter – earthy, fruity hops. Finishes bitter, bitter and bitter. For a double Ipa, this stuff is darn nice. World class bottle of beer courtesy of landhoney. Thanks, Seth! 50belair (3697) - Florida, USA - DEC 22, 2011
Bottle shared by Seth. Clear pale yellow pour. Grapefruity hop aromas. Super dry with floral and herbal notes. A little unbalanced. madvike (3305) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2011
Bottle from hbmason...thanks Tim! - Pours honey yellow with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma is a huge blast of tropical fruit and that onion/garlic note that I’ve smelled before. Lots of herbal hops and a sweet malt backbone. Really bright...wow. Taste is more sharp--lots of really bitter citrus rind that lasts through the long finish. A bit minty with a good deal of syrupy sweet malt. A bit too bitter for my tastes, but it kind of grew on me too. Slick and resiny, with pretty little carbonation. rudolf (2360) - Buffalo, New York, USA - DEC 12, 2011
Bottle from Ethan, shared with Mike. Hazy gold with a ncie white head. Nose is citra - sweaty lemon, pineapple, some mint. That all continues into the flavor - strange sweaty citrus and a slightly funky bitterness. A bit heavy in terms of mouthfeel. A bit more bitter than I would prefer. Still, a solid beer.

Huge thanks to koopa for sharing this one.
Pours a cloudy, golden sunshine color with orange and lemon yellow hues and a one finger white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Sweet citrus hop aroma with dank, resinous hop oils and tons of citrus and tropical. fruit. Slightly piny with lots of pineapple, grapefruit and lemon peel.
Medium bodied with a blast a dry, earhy hops which provide a perfect dry bitterness that lingers over the sweet fruit notes into a bone dry finish. Lots of grapefruit and sweet pineapple along with zesty lemon peel. Pale malt backbone with biscuit and cracker providing a nice counter without taking away from the hop bitterness. Simply put, this beer tastes amazing. Reynolds314 (3472) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 23, 2011
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2012 On tap at three penny taproom. First offering by Lawsons and was not dissapointed. What a balanced citrus/dank IPA. Just the right amount of malty sweetness to compliment the HUGE hop profile. VT continues to make the most consistently amazing IPAs. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - NOV 19, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2012 On tap, big hop flavors, tons if citra. Not very bitter, mango and tropical flavors. Did not except this to rock this much. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - NOV 12, 2011
