Craft Clerkenwell. Tuesday Horal Chugging Tasting! Cheers to Leighton for the best beer of the night. Lightly hazy gold beer with a good white head. Palate is light and smooth with fine carbonation. Super light creamy malt base. Good hops that start pretty floral but segue seamlessly in to tangerine and orange. Light tropical fruits are up next with mango and pineapple distinguishable. Finishes light and semi dry. Very very drinkable.
Bottle. Hazy deep golden yellow color, small white head. Aroma of bright pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is sliqghtly bitter grapefruit. Very nice. Leighton (21074) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2013
Bottle shared at Sander’s in NYC. Pours clear gold with a crothy white head. Smells unbelievable. Loads of juicy citrua, mandarin orange, straw, pale malts. Medium sweet flavor, lots of juicy and somewhat gooey citrua fruits, a bit of bitter citrua rind, grapefruit, melon, orange. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Restrained resinous finish, glorious citrus fruits, grapefruit, orange, sweet pale malts. Well, I think this beer is unreal. Wonderful stuff. Fruchtig hopfiger Antrunk mit geringen Grasnoten. Leicht alkoholisch, grasiger werdend, angenehme Würzigkeit. Spritzig, weiterhin würziger werdend, vollmundig, hell. 12/10/11/11/12/11

Craft Clerkenwell, Tuesday Horal Chugging Tasting, massive thanks to Leighton for this beauty, 17/09/13.
Hazed golden with a good sized white head.
Nose is juicy hops, orange, grapefruit, grass, light pine, not as rich and aromatic as I’d expected but a pleasant treat to the nostrils none the less.
Taste comprises juicy hops, tangerine, grapefruit, orange pith, pine resin, toasty malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation that massages the palate, great feel, great beer ! mcberko (17136) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 14, 2012
[200th Imperial IPA] 22 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks Dany!), pours a mostly clear golden with a small white head. Beautiful piney hop aroma explodes on the nose, with some herbal and tropical fruit notes - just enough malt to back. Flavour is loaded with a barrage of piney hops, some orange peel, sort of herbally notes and sufficient pale malt backing, though the piney hops still scream to the surface. Dry palate of piney hops that coat the palate and dominate. Quite an astringent aftertaste. Excellent. jtclockwork (16424) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 26, 2011
Bottle at Paul and Ryan’s tasting. Pours clear golden amber. Nose and taste of peach skin, dry citrus, hops, caramel malt, herbal pines and pineapple. Benzai (15433) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - APR 22, 2016
Bottle @ home on my son’s first birthday March 14th 2016. Lightly hazy orange golden color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Superb hoppy aroma with tropical fruits and a slight floral note. Fantastic aroma, although it has more of an IPA character to me than an Imperial IPA, I would have loved a little pine and resin in there. Nontheless abdolutely lovely. Tastes light to moderately malty, again loads of hops dominating the initial flavor, fortunately some resin amidst the tropical fruit hops. Nice mix of fruity hop bitter and malt bitterness in the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Absolutely delicious! Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2012
